  1. Hi, sorry if I did a double post, you can merge the threads. I found a mistake in the flight manual, page 72. Bullet 7 is copied from bullet 6 "autobalance switch", it is more the air injector(?).
  2. What does this mean exactly? Currently, we can't set 100 RPM at take-off (but somebody mentioned it in the past), because the brakes don't hold it. Will this be solved?
  3. Sorry, but what's the difference between UP and FIXED? Aren't they fixed in the up position?
  4. Seriously? The F-5E is less than a week available and you ask for an upgrade? :doh: If I had the choice to get another version of the same aircraft or another aircraft by Belsimtek, I would take the second one. ;)
  5. Thanks all. Looks like they had the callsigns, which now have all the F/A-18 squadrons.
  6. Hi, does anybody know real callsigns (not the pilots one, but for the flight/ section/ devision) for the F-14? I found a lot for other aircraft, such as the Hornet, Eagle and Mirage 2000C, but nothing for the Tomcat. :( Thanks for advance, Fire
  7. As long as the nation is a NATO member, there are standards. For GCI/AWACS of course, ATC comms can varify a little bit from unit to unit and base to base.
  8. Und die Tiger II wurde als Beta veröffentlicht, die Mirage im Alpha Status, soweit ich mich erinnere. Auch hat Belsimtek inzwischen sehr viel mehr Erfahrungals Razbam in DCS, sind glaube ich auch mehr Leute. Im Fazit stimme ich jedoch zu: Die F-5 fetzt jetzt schon gewaltig, es funktioniert auch schon viel. Kann man wohl mit dem Beta Release des UH-1H vergleichen, wenn ich mich recht erinnere.

  10. Does this also include the loose-lock issue while in PID mode, where the radar scans the opposite site of the target?
  11. Er meint die Vorlage im Kniebrett, auf der man die Short-cuts für Chaff/ Flares und Rockets einsehen kann. TACAN (Tactical Air Navigation) heißt das. ;)

  16. Hi AlaskanGrizzly, I installed the Kneeboard Builder on my fresh installed Windows 10 (64bit) system, kopied the files in another drive/ folder and get a crash, everytime I close the programm. Never experienced that before, with Windows 7 (64bit). Any ideas or something that you need, to look into it? Thanks in advance, Fire

  19. Meiner Meinung nach nur für Drohnen und Bomber sinnvoll. Einen Luftkampf gegen ein Flugzeug mit einem menschlichen Piloten an Bord würde man - meiner Meinung nach - nicht gewinnen. Da fehlen einfach die SA und Reaktionszeit. Und wie man vor ein paar Jahren im Iran gesehen hat, sind gesteuerte Systeme immer angreifbar (hacken).
  20. You're right, there were a lot of other factors, as well. But a static/ ground based infrastructure is naturally more vulnerable than a dynamic. And has more (tactical/ strategic) limits, such as the horizon/ ground. There are a lot of GCI radars that were destroyed since WW2. But how much air-based radars (such as AWACS) were destroyed since their use?
