I noticed that you can jettison launchers from both cockpits in the Hind, however there is no binding for "Launcher Jettison Switch" in the CPG cockpit, only the switch cover, no button. Please add that one. (unless it's called something else and I've missed it)

Thanks, I do get some friendly A/C calls like watch traffic at 2 o'clock (in F-4) when it sits high above me. Will monitor it, but I it should be sorted as you said.

Can we get Jester to call out aircraft with a high, low and same level in addition to the clock code?

Can we get a 1st generation MANPAD like SA-7 and Redeye to be more realistic for the early colde war scenarios? The SA-18 is a bit overkill for the older servers. Thanks

[Known issue] Some weapons not being displayed when rearming.

Also after the last update the GBU-8 does not ARM. Has something changed in the procedure? -
Did not know that you can copy skins like that (gave away my age). Works fine, looks like the refueling probe is retracted in the CE folder and extended in the EE folder. Brings back many memories. Love the skins, thanks, got some goose bumps when I saw them. Used to be an ATC at Hoedspruit when these beasts were still flying. I may have to put you on my Christmas list. Our entire DCS squadron appreciates the hard work. Well done.

Please enable the F1CZ livery for Players again, it suddenly became only available for AI

On JESTER 2.0: please look into enabling the numeric keypad when entering manual waypoint coordinates in the Jester menu. Only when that window is open. Will be of great help for VR users (or some key bindings that we can set). Thanks

need track replay GC “Hey what are you doing!”
VladimirSputnik replied to SharpeXB's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
I noticed in MP on the Supercarrier, when refueling with outside view: every few seconds the aircraft's nose drops a few inches, causing the ground crew to ask the annoying, "Hey, what are you doing?" You can see in the track file against the F-14 in the background how the nose keeps bobbing up and down. This normally throws the ground crew off while re-arming. The frustrating part is when you re-arm and quickly go to make coffee while you wait (or just being AFK), when you get back the refueling has stopped halfway and you have to set up your load-out again...quite a few times. Would be nice if that can be resolved OP_DragonTrap_Day_OVC-20240626-210349.trk -
I pushed negative Gs (just bunted forward a bit) and blacked out permanently had to watch from out side until ground impact.

Bindings provided in Feb 2024 update, thanks

I am experiencing a weird bug: On MP servers, all works fine, but every time I enter the same aircraft cockpit the second time, all of the bindings of one of my modifiers as well as the buttons on the bottom half of my Thrustmaster F-16MFD does not register. If I go into the Adjust Controls menu, ALL of my key bindings work perfectly. when back in the cockpit, these buttons don't work. Sometimes if I select another aircraft and then go back to the original one, it works again but not always. The only workable solution is to leave the server every time I need to get into another aircraft (getting shot down etc.) and then re-join Not sure if anyone else is having a similar problem? The fact that the keys are working fine in the Adjust Controls menu, but not in the cockpit suggests it is not a hardware issue.

missing info Water is glowing?
VladimirSputnik replied to MrMelon's topic in Weather System Bugs & Problems
I noticed beautiful sun reflections off water and it looks very realistic, only problem is it was around midnight and the sun was approximately 45 degrees below the horizon by that time. It appears as if the reflections are simply inverted, i.e reflecting from underneath instead of above like in daytime. It was full moon, so the sun and moon are exactly 180 degrees opposite each other then. You can see in pic 1 the moon position, so the sun must be the same degrees below the horizon. No big deal, but it does create some confusing visuals late at night -
Road bases are quite useful on most servers. How about PSP planking like those used in Korea and Vietnam or some way of creating manoeuvring space for aircraft that don't do well in off-road Ops. Parking and refueling areas to turn around and not get stuck in the dirt. Very few jet aircraft are designed for grass fields. Just throwing it out there...

Awfully glad for the upgrades It is nice that it is modelled though. If you fly in cold war period servers to keep it like it would have been for the drivers in those days - nostalgic. Thanks for the reply

Yes, filter workaround works, but in short: In the past I would select an aircraft (slot) and fly. If I die or just want to select the same type I would go to the Role Menu and the page would be showing my previously selected slot on opening the menu. I can select another slot etc to fly again, but now if I return to the Role Menu the menu has been shifted 50 or so slots from where I last was. It used to store the last used position and now I have to scroll or use filters which is cumbersome. You must simply continue where you left off instead of searching for your position.

LANTIRN ALAS functions above 25kft

LANTIRN ALAS functions above 25kft
VladimirSputnik replied to Rex854Warrior's topic in Bugs and Problems
Is here a function IRL to adjust this 25 000 ft setting fore mountainous terrain? What if you are attacking a target on a mountain with elevation 20 000 ft? You will only have 5 000 ft to work with and get into the range of the defences. Just saying, I don't think the designers anticipated the USAF will ever fight in the Alps or Andes (or Afghanistan), but yes, it's old technology. But some red guy placed an EWR on mount Kazbeg in the Caucasus and it made lobbing LGBs a bit limiting. Or was the 25 000 ft (just over 4nm) maybe meant as slant range measured by the LASER instead of altitude? -

Thanks for the reply Here is a screen shot of the menus on server K-0-1: I selected the Mi-8 slot at Rosh Pina I go into the cockpit and immediately go back to the menu and now the list has shifted 50 slots upwards (2nd pic) and I have to scroll down back to the slot which I selected. It used to remember the location so when I went back to the menu I could see my selected slot.

After the Select Role menu filters were introduced (useful feature, thanks) it seems that your aircraft selection does not keep its place in the menu list when you want to select a new aircraft after the flight. Example: You select an aircraft and maybe gets killed and you want to select the same type again to fly, but the menu has moved up to the top or at best a number of rows away from your selection. It does not remember it like before and thus makes it annoying to go through the entire process again of selecting the filter or scrolling to where your selection was. Please bring back the "memory" feature

Mapping the start sequence to controllers speeds up the start remarkably, especially if you have a lot of aircraft. I have to interrupt the sequence a few times due to certain switches that are not available for binding and then have to use the mouse. Please create bindings for the following: Converter 115V Cover Converter 36V Cover L Fuel Shut-off Cover R Fuel Shut-off Cover Fire Extinguisher Control Fire Extinguisher Power Fan Gyro 1 & 2 Radio Altimeter RV-5 Power Gear Lights Cover
