Please create key bindings for the missile volume

I have noticed on selecting TEL the background noise is not present - it only locks when there is background noise. As a workaround I go back to HA (Search mode) and re-select TEL. Sometimes I get the background noise immediately, other times I have to repeat the cycle HA-TEL-HA-TEL a few times until I see the noise. Thereafter it locks quite fast. Thus I have the 2 bindings close to each other for quick action. If I then go from TEL to BPZ it usually also shows the noise, but going directly from HA to BZP never worked for me. I hope it can be fixed soon, since once you are merged the last thing on your mind is cycling radar modes until it works.

Apologies, I revise my original second question: on further testing I noticed UFC presses still work, but reflects on CDU screen since MFDs are inhibited during DSMS LOAD. What does not work are the MFD pages, If you press LOAD ALL, no other page functionality seems to work on either MFD until LOAD is complete. So there is some dead time to do something mechanical. Sometimes the LOAD takes a while and you can't edit waypoints etc, however the workaround is to use the CDU in that time.

Thanks, I meant the LOAD of weapons through the LOAD page and not the actual arming of the aircraft, but can you confirm that it inhibits those functions in real life as well? The issue I had was when you completed the re-arm and refuel and want to start your taxi and quickly press the LOAD ALL OSB the NWS does not work and you have to use differential braking. Quite a surprise if you're not paying attention with other traffic taxiing etc. I appreciate the feedback, thanks Regarding the STA5 & 7 issue, When you load max Mk82s (22 bombs) there are TERs on 3,4,5,7,8&9 and bombing in PAIRS with CCIP, 2 at a time, works fine up until you reach Sta 5&7 and then they release single from STA7 instead of 1 each from STA5&7 If that is how it works in real life, I gladly accept it, but it does not make sense to me. Thanks anyway - never argue with engineers

Testing with Mk84s and Mk82LDs (including 3 on TER) showed when setting PAIRS only STA 7 releases the weapon on pickle Subsequent pickle releases STA 5 weapon For 3 Mk82s on STA 7 it releases 1 bomb per pickle and then only moves over to STA 5's 3 weapons, creating a 3-bomb asymmetry Off topic question - are most UFC and other functions like NWS supposed to be inhibited during weapons upload (on LOAD PAGE)? I've found the functions are accessible again only after the upload is complete.

The key binding [Tail Flood Lights OFF/DIM/BRT] does not change the Tail Flood switch, however it changes the Landing Light the same as binding [Landing/Taxi Light: LNDG] Same with [Tail Flood Lights BRT/DIM/OFF] which changes the Landing light switch to [Landing/Taxi Light: OFF] The individual bindings: [Tail Flood Lights: BRIGHT] [Tail Flood Lights: DIM] and [Tail Flood Lights: OFF] still works correctly In addition: [NAV FLIR LEVEL INCREASE], [NAV FLIR LEVEL DECREASE], [NAV FLIR GAIN INCREASE] and [NAV FLIR GAIN DECREASE] do not seem to function on knobs.

It looks like the servers register an inaccurate ping. When I join Blue Flag my ping sits at 215 in the server menu, but once in game it shows 14748340 and all worked smoothly, however all the servers with a force kick will kick me out very quickly. I believe ED is working on the issue.

fixed Waypoints selecting wheel hotkey useless
VladimirSputnik replied to Japo32's topic in Bugs and Problems
Awesome, thanks, I found another one: Autopilot intensity control Increase / Autopilot intensity control Decrease Knob is not animated with key binding - only goes max CW or max CCW, only animated with mouse Keep up the good work - lovely aircraft -
fixed Waypoints selecting wheel hotkey useless
VladimirSputnik replied to Japo32's topic in Bugs and Problems
Same problem. The following list of key bindings for knobs move fully clockwise and fully counterclockwise with one press only (if programmed to a controller): - Modes selector - Counterclockwise - Modes selector - Clockwise - Parameters selector - Clockwise - Parameters selector - Counterclockwise - Waypoints selecting wheel - Increase - Waypoints selecting wheel - Decrease The initial release of the F1CE had similar knob problems but were resolved It appears that only mouse clicks work to increment these knobs or wheels by one position only -
fixed Key bindings for knobs only go fully CW or fully CCW
VladimirSputnik replied to VladimirSputnik's topic in Bugs and Problems
Thanks, all seems to be working well -
The DED NAV PAGE (LIST-4 -2) is the second page from the NAV STATUS page named NAV COMMANDS On page 179 the manual states that the FILTER MODE can be toggled between AUTO and INS, but it does not say how to toggle it I have tried all the ICP buttons I can think of but to no avail Am I missing something? Logic from other pages dictates that [0-MSEL] should do the trick I know it is not a much used page, but it may be a small bug Pleas advise and adjust manual to stipulate how to change it if it is not my mistake Thanks

All 4 cockpit light intensity knobs do not increase the intensity, but simply act as ON switches. Key bindings: Instrument Lights Increase, Console Lights Increase, Annunciator Lights Decrease and Flood Lights Increase When pressed, they go a small distance clockwise to just switch them on, but they do not move further to higher intensity. It is still adjustable with the mouse. In addition, the "decrease" bindings of the above 4 simply act as OFF switches, they also do not decrease the intensity. It used to work just fine, maybe I missed something in the updates, but please investigate

Pleasure Keep up the good work

First of all I have to congratulate you on the M2000C module. Some of my Air Force colleagues refer to it as an "officer's aircraft" and I have to agree. I did, however, notice a number of grammatical and technical mistakes in the latest manual (2.2.0). Please find attached documents and scrutinize my opinions as you see fit. Forgive me for being pedantic, since it might seem I am being too critical, but such a phenomenal aircraft should have a manual without such simple mistakes. I assume most of the members who worked on the manual are French-speaking, so if I can give my five cents...here it is. My country has a long history of flying French machines and this one is very close to my heart. There are a lot of repetitions, but it is merely for completeness in case you miss something. I took me a few weeks to draft and it is quite a lengthy document, so I may have made some mistakes of my own. If I misunderstood the meaning of some of your explanations, I apologise and ask that you ignore those entries. I hope it helps. Keep up the good work, I absolutely love this aircraft and the campaigns are some of the best in DCS in terms of realism and all-round professionalism. I thank you. Looking forward to more work from you guys. Mirage 2000C Manual Errors.docx Mirage 2000C Manual Errors.pdf

HUD Brightness Binding does not work
VladimirSputnik replied to VladimirSputnik's topic in Bug Reports
Thanks, please don't forget to update the next manual with this info -
I bound the HUD Brightness Increase and decrease buttons to my controllers, but does not function, neither does it if bound to my keyboard. Is it a bug? Also after the 18 Nov 22 Open Beta update the green Markpoint indications M91 M92 M93 does not show on PCN window after a MRQ has been created. Neither do they light up when the lights test button is pressed. I am sure it is a minor problem, but if I missed something, please let me know. Still working through the new (enlarged) manual Regards

How to fire missiles (press button)
VladimirSputnik replied to cmbaviator's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
I found this binding [Bombs, rockets, missiles and sight recorder button] to be too sensitive with rockets. If I only want to fire a few rockets, you can't just tap the button quickly since it has a lag before the rockets fire If I hold it in it fires a great amount of rockets (even if not set to SALVO) I hope this is the same glitch as for the knob bindings that can't select in between selections - only goes fully L or fully R I may have missed something, but the manual is a bit vague at times -
I noticed that the following bindings to the keyboard and HOTAS Warthog for knobs and multi-selectors only go to fully right and fully left. It seems impossible to select any options in between: [Program selector switch - Clockwise] [Program selector switch - Counterclockwise] [Function selector switch - Clockwise] [Function selector switch - Counterclockwise] [TACAN mode selector - Clockwise] [TACAN mode selector - Counterclockwise] [Radar control stick scale selection - RIGHT] Goes directly to 7 nm [Radar control stick scale selection - LEFT] Goes directly to 60 nm [Radar control stick scan selection - LEFT] Goes to 60 [Radar control stick scan selection - RIGHT] Goes to a blank position to the right of 30 [Heading and vertical reference system control switch - Clockwise] [Heading and vertical reference system control switch - Counterclockwise] [Frequency select thumbwheel - Hundreds - Increase] and all the different digit selectors Then these are very sensitive and if you do not press and release the button superfast it will jump 2 or 3 channels: [V/UHF control unit channel selector - Clockwise] [V/UHF control unit channel selector - Counterclockwise] [V/UHF control unit function selector - Clockwise] [V/UHF control unit function selector - Counterclockwise] [Omnibearing selector - Clockwise] and Counterclockwise skips digits - turns too fast to select

Great campaign, thanks a million Found some typos in the briefings FYI Fear the Bones! - 5 - Bad Moon Rising OBJECTIVE Start your engines, taxi to the catapult and launch. Fly on BRC and maintain 300 KIAS at 500' MSL until you're outside 7 miles DME, then (3 spaces) go button 2 and check in with Wizard. Ask Jester to select steer point 1, follow the bug, and climb to 21,000 feet. Orbit above the USS Valley Forge, and monitor the frequency for updates from the Hawkeye. Fear the Bones! - 9 - Killer Instinct BRIEFING Now I have some bad news and good news. The bad news first: our C-2 Greyhound carrying AIM-54 Phoenix missiles was shot at this morning and had to RTB, so you guys are going up with Sparrows only. We’re expecting another COD with Phoenixes at 1500h, callsign Springfield. Springfield will remain on deck in Turkey until you arrive onstation (on station – 2 words), then head out to the boat. The good news: the USS Ranger entered the Black Sea through the strait of Bosporus this morning at 0830h, so we’ll have some reinforcements shortly! Now grab your gear, get to the roof and start’em (start ‘em - space needed) up. Fear the Bones! - 13 - Suicide Run BRIEFING Jaws, Jester, you are to launch, top-off with Texaco, then head toward waypoint 2. VFA-87 took out the SAM site at Sukhumi an hour ago, so that’s where you ‘re (you’re – space between you &’re) gonna go feet dry. Remain below 1000 feet AGL to avoid detection, sneak through the valleys to get to your IP at WP3. They will use that old runway for the parade. Now understand: we cannot condone political assasination (assassination – 1 missing ‘s’), so your target is the General Secretary’s podium at the eastern end of the runway. It’s stored in your INS as your surface target. Take it out with your cannon. Time on Target is anytime between 1150 and 1205 local. Be careful though - there is an SA10 (SA-10) site to the South, and God knows how many machine gun nests. Caveman and Grip are going to escort you to the coastline. If you need to punch out, avoid capture at all costs. OBJECTIVE Start your engines, taxi to the catapult and launch. Go button 3 to contact Texaco. Refuel and (at?) WP1, then switch to the Hawkeye’s frequency, descend below 1000 feet AGL and proceed to waypoint 2. Ask Jester to switch to the next steer point. Sneak through the valleys to reach your IP, remaining below 1000' (1000 feet for consistency – everywhere else in the narrative it says 1000 feet) AGL. No biggie, just for completeness Really enjoyed the campaign

Thanks for clearing that up, much appreciated. It will always be a nostalgic machine.
