  1. Hi Thanks so much to Rodney 1111 Stereo 3D does work in DCS A10 and very - all the cockpit is full 3d as well as the world - only issue is labels are 2d (the HUD is fine) - but who plays with labels!!!! You need to look and action posts 54 and 49 (in that order) Thanks again

  3. Question for all you jet heads out there Are the two throttles linked or separate On my Thrustmaster Warthog I can link the two throttles - would an A10 pilot have this option in the real A10 and would he use it? Do other jets have the same function / option?

  6. Thanks for the quick reply - I'll try the TGP method What would a real pilot use - depends on the situation I guess ?? Strange there is not that functionality in the jet / seeker given it can ground stabilise - would have thought it would be very useful JP

When following the training and the threads here I always seem to have the same issue and I was wondering if its a bug / I'm doing something wrong / the function is not available on the A10 So I would like to use the mav camera, and in the training mission I slew to the target area (China right long I think), ground stabilise (TMS down) then as soon as I move the camera again the ground stabilise comes off. Meanwhile I'm moving the stick a little to correct for my rubbish flying and the mav then moves off the target area. I would have thought once ground stabilised there must be a way to keep it like that (stabilised) while I try to get a lock on the target (moving it around a bit with the U/D/L/R) - is this possible and if so how do you do it Many thanks in advance and apologies if I've missed it in another thread Cheers JP

  10. Hi I deleted my 64 bit shortcut as was not needed until track ir was working - now it is working I want to play 64 bit. I think I have created the right shortcut but not sure if I have all the properties set correctly (and my shortcut is green I think the orig one was blue). Could someone please attach to a reply the 64bit shortcut for single player Many thanks in advance.
  11. not done much testing - but when running I see quite a big FPS hit --- about 5 FPS --- is that normal?
  12. changing it to 0.01 also seems to work --- any other value I get stutters

After days of testing I have found the soltion for stutters on my rig I have changed the following line in the Graphics.cfg file CloudAspectThreshold = 0.00; This makes it realtime and has elimiminated the stutter and on my rig I do not see any FPS impact Try it and see if it works for you. Note on my machine which has windows 7 64bit there are two graphics configs. I needed to change the one in the following location (which is hidden by default) C:\Users\JP\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Eagle Dynamics\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\Config\ and not the one in the normal C:\Program Files (x86)\Eagle Dynamics\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\Config\
  14. Onb Win 7 / vista the settings are not stored in the Graphics.cfg. Some settings in there are used (like the values for trees ext). however the actual used setting (ie current = "Medium";) is stored unser My Documents\User\................... (can't remember the full path) Change a setting in game options. Then do a search for modified files for todays date to find the path / file

  18. Not to put down my trusty old TIR3 but I have found the 5 to be much more responsive in tracking - much smoother in game than the 3 and more precise. However the 3 is still a good bit of kit! ---- lol StrongHarm
  19. Just would have thought some items would remain intact even after that (ie chips with data on them). maybe all that is cooked by the heat of the blast.

I upgraded to TIR 5 with pro clip just before Christmas (well worth it for those thinking of it) As such I have my old TIR 3 with vector expansion and pro clip doing nothing and thought someone may like it. Please reply to this thread if you would like the chance to 'win' it and then I'll get my daughter to pick a post number at random and that will be the winner. Please only post if you want this for your personal use and can't afford to buy one yourself. This is to help those a little less fortunate than myself. I don't want to give it away only to see it being sold on ebay or give it to someone who can afford such items with ease.   21. so info like the parameters of how the RWR determines what the threat is is left in the EWR module for others to look at? Or is it encrypted and the key erased on ejection ???
  22. When a pilot ejects from a fighter how are all the planes systems kept secret - is it all erased in some way? Are the missiles / bombs made secure during the ejection sequence or all armed so they detonate on impact with the ground ? Just interested on how all the top secret info is kept top secret
  23. yeah - and if there are any changes to the models you could get early sight of this to change the textures for LOFC2 --- I agree should be part of that
