Thanks for all the advice, at the moment the score is 33 landings to 32 deaths. I made a single mission with 20C temp and starting at almost sea level with no wind. As suggested I'm trying to be as smooth with the stick and rudder as possible but somehow I'm still ending up slipping sideways. Vertical speed isn't a problem, I'm managing about 0.5 to 1 meter/s down with a forward speed of about 30kph. I'll keep you posted.

Well after 30 landings and 30 deaths :doh: I'm still not able to land without wrecking the KA-50. Seeing the fact that there are people who can land the KA-50, I'm asking you out there to help me and other people with some tips and tricks.

Almost right. Try to get two physical processors running with Home or Basic, it's not going to happen. For instance I have 2 processors in my system and I need Ultimate (or business).

Not to mention the $9700 it would cost me to upgrade to 64 Gig of memory :joystick:

For me it's the stability, and the option of putting 2 Quad Core processors on this motherboard in the near future. Oh and beeing able to upgrade from 4GB mem to 64GB :D

Well I had a chance today to play around with it. I got a 8800 GTS instead :).

Get a program to set the core affinity. I don't have a problem with my AMD dual Core but there are people who have the same problem that you discribe.

Yep in some way the forum is for complaining and wishing. I know that people will never be satisfied and I think thats a positive thing. But posting here or any where else to kick the hell out of another game just makes me sick. I've seen worse also but that is the reason I stick to this forum and SimHQ and the Steel Beasts Pro Pe forum.

Why? why o why o why do some people need to kick the crap out of another GAME to feel good about the GAME they have or want to have. Why? And even if lomac and fc suck, did ED put a gun to your head so you had to buy both of them? No! Or did you think that LP came to my house flying a friggin F-16 and told me that if I did not buy F4:AF they would bomb the hell out of me? No! I spend more money going to a restaurant then I spend on games in a whole year, and the games will give me more bang for a buck. Will I ever buy FO? Maybe yes, maybe no. ruggbutt I'm not a small guy (6 foot and 4 inches) with a shoesize 12 and at the moment I (still) don't have a problem with the small track. But the thing I really want to know is how did you program the toe brakes??

Well I installed them about 1 hour ago. Together with the pro throttle and fighterstick (that I got "working" again by reinstalling FC) it is the best money I've spend on a HOTAS in years. Now if i could only have the time to learn the programming bit :joystick:

Because I just got my CH pro pedals :megalol: . I'm not joking ED, please ship it NOW. I know you guy's waited until I got my CH stuff ready and now is the time.

33rd_bratpfanne thats strange. I know that every plane except the F-15 needs some trimming to keep them level. The F-15 should simply keep on flying straight if I disengage the autoaltitude hold. Now if it would be a bad pot problem I should have seen the same problem with other games. I'll try the CH hangar forum to see if anybody has a solution.

It also happens with the F-15. The moment I press H to disengage the altitudehold the plane will start to dive.
