I installed Nero and Alcohol 120% way before i even got Flaming Cliffs. Guess what, I'm not going to be the one who will win the $ 1000 :cool: Oh and I forgot to mention DVDSanta and TMPGenc studio. The stupid DVD burner just keeps on functioning.

In the book "Strike Eagle Flying the F-15E in the Gulf War" by William L. Smallwood a couple of pilots over-g'd their Strike Eagles. Later they could not take on fuel with their engines running but had to taxi to the ramp. One crew over-g'd at 6.5 G so me thinks that for every loadout there is a different max G you are allowed to pull. :icon_jook

Little OT perhaps but how will Black Shark perform under Windows Vista with DX10? Yes I'm worried about the new (no we are not going to be backwards compatible DX10) Windows version. I mean Black Shark is going to be released within a year ( I hope). And emulating a heavy sim like LOMAC or Black Shark will still suck the life out of any new computer the next 2-3 years. :icon_evil

F-16+ECM+AMRAAM = Killer plane from Hell In LOMAC the F-16 is one heck of a killer. So yes it will kill your MiG-25 without even blinking.

I have the same game as you have and I burned 2 DVD's this morning without any problems. I have Alcohol 120% and Nero installed. Here are the specs of my gaming/internet/abuse machine; AMD 2700 XP, 1,5 GB memory, Nvidia 5700 ultra, 120 GB HDD, Audigy 2, Benq 1640 DVD burner, unkown DVD-ROM player. Its sucks having problems but this ranting will not solve the problem.

Well first I want to thank the people who pointed me to the fact that removing the disc will stop SF checking the disc. Secondly OCing a system beyond its selling specs is....... well funny for a tweaker. If you have important data stored on a system YOU DO NOT MESS WITH IT!! YOU DO NOT PLAY GAMES ON IT!! YOU WILL WANT TO HAVE MAXIMUM STABILITY!! If you do not understand this please step away from the computer!

True DU is cheaper than tungsten, and it is actually more effective then tungsten. I've seen a very simple formula to calculate longrod armor penetration. If the rod contained DU, the outcome had to be multiplied by 1.15. You can find a ton of info on http://www.tank-net.org Greetz Raploc

The driver is only for the TIR3 family. For me it solved a centering problem, before it used to float around the centerpoint a bit after I pressed the center button.

I have had the opportunity to catch a ride on a Leopard 1 tank about 14 years ago when I was in the army. Was it fun? hell yeah!! Could someone hit a fast moving plane with a machinegun while doing 40-50 kph on rough terrain looking for a place to hide from antitank missiles? Hell no! But this is getting of topic.

Why not? Better to waste a missile than destroying the laser. But I would understand if there was a kind of "wartime" overload setting. The laser would need extra maintenance the minute you would land of course. Strannik a tank driving at 50 Kph is not a stable AA gunplatform. And if the Vikhr is just as good in rl as in the game, I would smoke those tanks at about 5 km and there is no machinegun that would be able to hit me at that distance.
