So I recently got my RS base and grip. I was disappointed they didn't include the internal USB cable so I went in search of an option that didn't involve shipping from Spain. A gaming mouse cable replacement cable worked perfectly. I did have to swap two of the pins in the connector to match RS wiring, but it was easy. Link to the cable I used below. I can't seem to get the F-16 slots to work properly. When I select them it just spawns it as AI. I even tried deleting the F16 and adding a new one. Same behavior. -

@Floyd1212Anyone having trouble with persistence? Stock and modified Foothold persistence is working on my server, but not working with your Cyprus version. I am running SLMod, but no issues on the other versions. Thanks. -

It stopped working on 2.8 update for the guys in our group using it. -
So I thought this was fixed, but I hadn't checked in game. Only from the main menu. The controls menu is almost completely unusable in VR. I tried with both my wireless gaming mouse at 125hz, 500hz and 1000hz. Also just a standard Dell wireless mouse @125hz and a wired (USB) EVGA mouse. Video attached. I'm moving the mouse the entire time and you can see it skipping around. Trying to keep my head still. If I move my head at all it gets even worse. Down to 1fps and takes 4 or 5 seconds to recover. This has been happening for a long time, but I just realized I could capture from the Varjo. Any HMD shakes like crazy in VR on the Aero. I am running two V2 Lighthouses. No reflective surfaces. A number of updates ago it was worse in the F16. After one update it got better. IHADDS/PNVS has not gotten better over time. Without the HMD up it is fine as you can see from the videos below.

Not working for me in 2.8. No Alt Enter sucks when doing mission editing on a single monitor. -
@BIGNEWY I just wanted to follow up on this. After the update this problem has come back with a vengence. Controls menu completely unusable from the main menu and in game in VR, but I think I figured it out. After messing around with my FJ device timing like I listed before I had to decrease those times because DCS was not recognizing commands. I just dealt with the problem until today when it became completely unusable. I figured it out though. It has to do with my mouse and keyboard. I was using a gaming mouse and keyboard. Both wireless. Switched them out for a standard Dell mouse and keyboard and the problem went away. This is probably a combination of the FJ device polling and the super fast polling for the mouse and keyboard. Maybe DCS can fix this so when you are in the menu it slows down the polling. Others with the issue and not having FJ devices it is probably their mouse and keyboard.

I figured out the problem on my system with a clue from @BIGNEWY. I tried disabling hot plug with no change. Then I removed every USB device and the stuttering/lag was gone. I'm dealing with another DCS issue making new GUIDs for my FreeJoy devices. I unplugged one of the devices and the stuttering was better, removed another and it got better again, removed the third FreeJoy device and stuttering was gone. Freejoy lets you configure the USB Exchange Period. It was set at 5ms for each device. Changed this to 20ms and all the stuttering/lag was gone. I will experiment with lowering this until the problem comes back. This started for me after the 64 was released because that is when I added the second and third FJ devices. Attached are track files if they are any use for others. My problem is solved. This was not a problem with a G2 at 200% or the Aero at 150% when I first got it. I believe it started with the 64 release, but my memory on that may be unreliable. I will give the other suggestions in this post a try. I read a reddit thread that this might be caused by Virpil software/firmware not being current. If that doesn't help I will post a track file.

After the latest updates George is identifying targets at extreme ranges and way out of the FOV. The attached track file shows ID of an Abrams at 18.6nm across relatively flat terrain with the helicopter on the ground. This is causing issues on MP servers with target lists 20 plus targets long and out of the pilot FOV. George ID at 18.6nm.trk

Red and blue color in the George target list is hard to read

Colors and text in the Hind are easy to read. If they copied that to the 64 and fixed the alignment it would be perfect. -
I find the red and blue colors in the new George target list hard to read. I'm using VR, Varjo Aero. User control of these new target list colors would be great. I tired both color schemes. Colors and font are different in the Hind. No problems reading it in the Hind. I also notice double vision where the menu display from one eye isn't aligned with the other in both modules. Not always terribly mis-aligned, but always double. Sometimes not even overlapping, but far enough apart to read twice in the same line. Never had this issue with the old menu.

need track replay George Keeps Voice Responding When Dead

As I explained in the first post I don't have a track replay or good way to replicate this. You still marked it as Need Track Replay. Maybe a suggestion on how to easily replicate this instead of putting all the onus on the people doing your beta testing. Why can't you fix it so George responds correctly instead of having to wait 3-4 seconds before giving consent to fire? We should be able to tell him to fire whenever we want. Not a half baked workaround of wait 3-4 seconds. Watching the TADS all the time isn't feasible. That is what the AI is supposed to be for. -
I noticed this in MP a couple times. George is dead and head slumped over in F2 view, looks fine from the back seat, responds to slave request via voice, but doesn't move the TADS. I don't have a track replay or good way to replicate this. Just happens occasionally in MP.
