While searching how to extend the arresting hook on the F4U, here is a screenshot with the F4U and S2B on the Arromanches R95 carrier deck. Superb Mods ! Thanks Edit : Would it be possible to have a static version of the F4U and of the SB2C with folded wings , for better realism on the carrier decks ? Hi All, I totally agre with Jacson158 request posted yesterday, for a F-100 and a F-8U Crusader Mods , which, I think, would be great additions to DCS. They would perfectly fit with the existing F-4, F-105, and other cold war and Vietnam era Mods, e.g., the Migs, A-4, A-6, etc. Are there any of theses F-100 and F-8U somewhere, even flying AI only ? Bonjour, On peut apponter sans problème... avec de l'entrainement... et y compris de nuit..... C'est le catapultage qui n'est pas possible, à cause d'une restriction d'ED, invoquant un droit de propriété intellectuelle sur le mécanisme de barre du train avant, je crois. Le palliatif est une "sur-puissance" des moteurs qui permet de décoller du pont d'envol sans catapulte.... Fly low...

Well, I tried to use the AI V-22 Osprey several times recently, and managed to make it take-off like a helicopter (see screenshot). This screenshot is a lift-off from the HMS Ocean carrier, with a surface wind at 20 kts, with vessel speed of 10 kt, and mass of the V-22 at 63% MTOW. But, whatever the ship, I never managed to have the Osprey land on it. It always ditches in the water, well short of the deck....

You're right. USS America is currently on sea trials and has not been released yet. All seems going very well thus far...
