    Indeed, this is a very neat tool, once you get yours hands on it. The learning curve is quite steep, in my opinion, because there are so many options and features. But it's very powerful. I confess that I'm far from being an expert when using it

    Hi davigt, As far as I remember, because this Rafale uses the FC3 Mig (?) HUD, you don't get any range info. Also, the LA is not set, you have to trigger it manually. There is a keybind for this in the commands. I may be wrong on all this, but I'm not an expert at this otherwise very nice aircraft. You might ask on Discord, where there are several dedicated channels, including some for another Rafale Mod, which uses the more advanced F-18 cockpit. Enjoy !

    Hi Buur, you can check these points using the DCS Model Viewer, option "CarrierRouteManager". The 8 parking slots in the screen below are mine, not the most recent ones. They free simultaneously the landing deck and the forward catapults for combined air ops. Enjoy !

    Il me semble qu'il te faut le pod de désignation Thalios (point d'emport 5, si ma mémoire est bonne), et activer le radar (touche "I").

    Hi, Sorry, this has nothing to do with the Rafale, but with the F-8 Crusader and the R-91 Charles de Gaulle I coudn't find the right place to share these screens.     Hi, As posted previously, ED will argue that they can't take into account the myriads of existing non-ED Mods, not sure they could even list them all. That's correct. Also, they said that OB releases are what they are qualified, i.e. Beta, meaning that there might be unknown bugs, and known issues. And there are a number of them, obviously. However, in those circumstances, it would be fair from ED to provide the users with the ability to revert back to a previous version. And there is another final option for us, that I always use for myself, it's not to upgrade immediately to the latest versions. Considering the number of bug reports I read, I'm quite satisfied to run OB 2.8.8, without any particular problem. This means that I'm at least 4 months late compared to ED's roll-out program, but I can happily spend my time on more important aspects of DCS : improving existing Mods, without wasting hours trying to upgrade the Mods one by one to conform to the lastest version. And I confess that, considering the current situation, I'm not near to upgrade to 2.9. My two cents. Enjoy !

    Hi Seabat, I'll be pleased to test your new helo parking spots, very interesting and realisitc, indeed the last TeTeT update for AI A-4 landing and parking on the CV-31 seems fine. Did you use it ? Enjoy !

    Excellent news ! Thanks ! I have problem with the above livery, which produces for me a bizarre mix of the US and French liveries... OK for the helo Mods. Looking forward to see them on board ! A Pedro is needed fotr the CV-31 !

    Well, I'm not the author of this LUA file, I just modified it to my personal taste. Credit goes to its author, mentioned at the top of the file : "kudos Citizen". Concerning helicopters, yes I guess they were used onboard the CV-31, but I don't know which type. Huey, I guess ?

    Hi TeTeT, attached is my EssexRunwaysAndRoutes.lua file. I've modified the data and coordinates of the parking slots 5 to 8, which results in the screenhots shown in my previous post. TeTeT, are you aware of any other type of aircraft than the A-4 that have been operating on the Essex class carriers ? Thanks EssexRunwaysAndRoutes.lua

    Hi, Here's the best I can do. Eight A-4 landing correctly, and parked correctly the 1st one parked has already despawned on the last screen below , while the first 2 parked have despawned on the top screen. The 8th aircraft landing goes then to the 1st defined parking slot on the right, not shown here... Merry Christmas to All !
