A question for the owners of the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. I installed mine last week and I use the Noctua NH-U12A as a cooler. With DCS the CPU gets very hot, up to 95 degrees. The Noctua cooler is also very hot. I was able to control the temperatures somewhat with Ryzen Master. What kind of CPU cooler do you use? Do you also have such high temperatures?

You're right. I have the Warthog Throttle, and somehow both axes of the throttle are suddenly configured and they interfere with each other. I was able to reproject the error and fix it that way. It's working fine for me now.

PCIe ist wohl für die zusätzlichen Stromanschlüsse auf dem MB, oben links und bei manchen MB unten in der Mitte. PCIe 5.0, wird wohl für neuere Grafikkarten sein. Mal eine andere Frage, wenn der PC abschmiert und einen Neustart versucht, kommen vom BIOS Signaltöne mittels dem MB Piepser? Das wäre noch interessant. ich hatte auch ein ähnliches Problem, hatte das Netzgerät getauscht, hat eine weile gehalten, aber dann war das Problem wieder da. Habe das MB getauscht, Problem war immer noch da, auch der Tausch vom Arbeitsspeicher brachte nichts. Der Übeltäter war dann meine MSI RX 6800. Per Zufall stiess ich in einem Forum darüber, und da war die Rede von einem FW Update der Grafikkarte. Ich hatte deswegen den Support kontaktiert von MSI. Die sagten mir aber, es gäbe keine neue FW für die Grafikkarte. Ich hatte dazumal den User im Forum angeschireben und der sendete mir die FW, ich ginge das Risiko ein und spielte die FW auf die karte auf. Und seit da an gab es keine Probleme mehr mit Abstürzen.

Kannst du mal ein Printscreen davon hier posten?

Is there software that would record FPS and a few values? Since I use DCS with VR, a streaming recording is not ideal in terms of image.

I have a similar setup and will update to the 9800X3D. The CPU arrived today. The MSI X670E Carbone WiFi motherboard has been ordered. RAM and new M.2 SSD will be purchased on Black Friday. I will then do the conversion sometime in December. We could test the performance increase using a mission in DCS and then post the FPS increase and possibly other values here. So before and after, so to speak. It would certainly be interesting for other users too.

Ich habe mir jetzt das MSI X670E Carbone WIFI entschieden. Auf ein X870E Board habe ich verzichtet, da wegen USB4 ein paar Lanes (8) für den GPU PCI und 2 M.2 Slots geopfert werden. Heist wenn du bei 4 M.2 Slots mehr als 2 SSD's einsetzt, wird der GUP PCI nicht mehr 16 Lanes haben, sondern nur noch 8 Lanes. Bei einem X670E Board kannst du alle vier bestücken ohne Einbussen, ausser bei den Gigabytes Board, dort ist das gleiche wie bei den X870E Board. Bei den DDR5 Ram, werde ich 6000Mhz nehmen. Scheinbar soll das recht stabile laufen. Der 9800X3D ist bereits bestellt und wird am Montag eintreffen

Du kannst auch einfach mal testweise DCS non Steam downloaden und mit der SU-25T eine Runde drehen. Dann könnte man das ausschliessen Ich vermute was bei wie es bei dir aussieht. Ich habe zeitweise das Problem, das ab der dritten Mission in DCS wo ich starte, besonders bei der F-14 Tomcat das Problem habe, das es eben auch so komisch stockt wie von dir beschrieben. Nach einem Neustart ist dann alles wieder in Ordnung. Welches Muster verwendest du? Und auch mal auf anderen Map's getestet?

Frage: DCS ist bei dir aktuell? Also auch als MT ausgeführt? Prüfe mal in den Einstellungen bei der Quest Software ob das Linkkabel als richtig USB 3.0 erkannt wird und keine Übertragungs Einschränkungen bestehen. Das Linkkabelsymbol sollte auf jedenfall grün sein. Bei mir hatte bei der Quest 2 auf einmal das Kabel nur noch USB 2.0 erkannt und da war das Bild dann auch eher eine Diashow Überprüfe auch das die Übertragung wirklich über das Linkkabel geht und nicht über WLan.

DCS is actually there to fly and carry out missions. I like doing that too, but every time I spend some time with a model, I would rather write a manual about it, create a skin or, more recently, create training missions. And once I've started something, I can't stop until it's completely finished. That will probably take several hours So everyone will find something for themselves in DCS, including practicing patience.

@Rudel_chw Thanks for the detailed explanation. I almost suspected that the merging of the clickabledata.lua of the different models would happen. I actually think it's a good solution, it increases efficiency for the programmers. I'll get to grips with it then. I've probably chosen a more complex pattern to get the necessary information from the lua files, but I find it very interesting. Unfortunately, the training missions for F1-EE are still missing. So I'd like to try to add something here. I hope that this winter is a little quieter and that I can spend a little more time with DCS and learn to create training missions on my own.

I would like to try to do a few training missions for the Mirage F1-EE. But to highlight the switches, I need the clickabledata.lua file for the Mirage F1-EE. I found the file but I can't find the cockpit element name. Where are these cockpit names stored?

Diese hatte ich genau vorhin mal genauer angeschaut, hätte vom Beschreib her gut gepasst. Ein zweier Kit würde vermutlich stabile? RGB brauche ich auch nicht, der Computer ist gut verstaut in einem Möbel, da sehe ich auch nichts

Scheinbar gibt es da mit DDR5 und den AMD Mainboard ein Problem wenn man 4x statt 2x RAM benutzt. Scheinbar brauchen die Mainboards beim aufstarten ziemlich lange, zumindest bei den MSI Boards. OC ist auch nichts für mich, für mich reicht es so wie ich die Komponente kaufe und das System stabil läuft. Welche Arbeitsspeicher laufen mit den Mainboards zuverlässig? Habe da mal an G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 2x32GB, 6000 MHz gedacht. Oder wie bisher Corsair Vengeance

Ich brauche mal unser Schwarmwissen Ich werde mir voraussichtlich im Winter den Ryzen 7 9800X3D besorgen. Ich bin mir mit den Mainboards ziemlich unschlüssig. Da ist die Entscheidung zwischen dem Chip X870E oder X670E und dann die Entscheidung von welchem Hersteller. Ich habe bis jetzt mit den Asus TUF Mainboard gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Nur leider gibt es bei den neueren Mainboards keinen SPDIF Audio Anschluss. Die Erfahrungsbewertungen sind da auch nicht berauschend. Auch bei den ROG Strix Mainboard sind die Nutzererfahrungen nicht so toll. Allgemein scheinen viele mit Asus unzufrieden zu sein. Besonders auch den Support Hat wer Erfahrung mit einem X670E oder X870E Mainboard? Das einzige was ich bis jetzt gefunden habe und mir passen würde, wäre das MSI MPG X670E CARBON WIFI Mainboard. Habe aber ausser einer Grafikkarte, nie etwas von MSI gehabt.

Ja die gibt es von Rakuzard. Sind halt schon fünf Jahre alt, das meiste wird da schon noch passen.

I have high hopes for the Mirage F1M. It will replace my M2k. I don't get to fly that much anymore, but when I have time, I just want to be able to sit in it and get started. I mainly use the Hornet, but yes, until everything is set up correctly and the weapons are configured, it's more pleasant to press a few switches and buttons. And what's really cool is that you don't just have one plane, but several versions of it.

Du hattest deinen PC neu aufgesetzt, hast du vielleicht ein anderes Tastaturoayout als Standard bei der Windows installation eingestellt? Warscheinlich hast du ein US-Layout gewählt, wenn du aber eine Deutsche oder CH Tastatur verwendest, müsstest du dass Layout in den Window Einstellungen ändern.

Überprüfe ob in den Einstellungen die Tasten für die Aktive Pause belegt ist.

Nein, irgendwie nicht. Gestern Abend konnte ich die Seite teils vom Smartphone gar nicht aufrufen. Dachte es läge am Smartphone und über den Computer geht es mässig.

Seit dem letzten Update sollte es nur noch die MT Version geben. Kannst du überprüfen beim Startbildschirm in DCS, da sollte unten rechts die Version Nummer und MT stehen. Dann ist es jetzt besser? Ohne MT lief bei mir auch nichts mehr gescheites.

MSAA x2 braucht recht viel Leistung. Hast stelle mal die Hochskalierung auf DLSS und Kantenglättung DLAA ein. Allenfalls Schatten auf nur Flach und Terraintexturen auf niedrig ein. DCS hast du aktualisiert und in der MT Version am laufen?
