Hi Andre,

Waaaay back in the summer when I pre-ordered, I had read that the Jetseat had been discontinued. I guess that was Fake News!:music_whistling: I have just placed an order for your custom FSE Jetseat. Looking forward to firing it up!:pilotfly:

Hi lewdawg,

thank you very much!

Hello got a bug report. All other planes work normally but FW190 is acting strange, vibrating hard when it should be idle, and generally not doing as it is supposed to. Anyone aware of this and know if there will be (or is) a fix? Really want to fly it cause the new cockpit looks fantastic, but I need to turn of the jetseat and in that case might just as well shut off the game.

Maybe some of the data SSA uses are not valid with the new model... I'll have a look after the holidays...

Wolf, you can use the experimental effect view in SSA to find the effect which is running crazy. Simply disable that... I could imaging, this comes from the engine effect...

Hey thanks I think it is dashboard shake that is responsible. Not something I can't live without!

If you bought something, it must be the Sound Module. My SimShaker for Aviators costs you nothing...

Spitfire works since the release of the module...

Are there any plans to work on damage for the WW2 modules? When I get hit you see, I cant feel the vibrations hitting my AC which means sometimes I am getting shot full of holes but dont realize it!

Olaf, I hope you are having a good Christmas!

Is there a way to make SSA give a 100% on effect for a second when a catapult shot commences?

It's alot of work to model this effect for all airplane... There are already some basic elements. But I can only detect real visual damages. Until the 3d model does not show holes, I'm basically out of luck...

Ah okay I misunderstood how it works.

Is this butt kicker worth it for jets in D.C.S ?

Would I feel the buffeting and shit at high AOAs in the hornet for example ?

For the price I'd like to try and buy one

Will it work with my USB headset ?

You can save yourself some cash and get a tactile transducer, amp and wiring off amazon. For my setup it came out to $110. It works great. It will work with a usb headset. You will need andres software SIMSHAKER SOUND MODULE though (same as if you bought a buttkicker)

That is very dependant on your setup. I have 2 large and 4 small transducers. The shaking a @ 30% on my rig might be way too little on yours.. Others just have a Buttkicker, and others a Jetseat. Maybe if you're asking Jetseat users this makes more sense if that's what you have.

SSA auto-updated a few days ago on PC start but I haven't flown until today. The only 2 aircraft that I usually fly is the A-10C and the F/A-18C. Today the hornet isn't working with the SSA and Jetseat. Here is the error, which refuses to go away when attempting to close. I have already reinstalled SSA, restarted, rebuilt the luas and nothing has corrected this. Please assist. TIA.

DCS OB current patch

LUAs were removed, but the sim nor SSA rebuilt them on system restart. So I restored them to the proper directory.

SSA, latest version that auto updated earlier this week. Unless I'm blind I don't see a version number.

Removed the export.lua for testing, only used an export.lua with the SSA info in the file, with no change.

SSA creates the simshaker.lua on launch. Please delete/rename the file and start SSA again. What does the log in the service tab says?

SimShaker.lua was removed, but SSA didn't rebuilt it on DCS launch. So I restored it to the proper directory, restoring the jetseat for other airframes but still fails for the Hornet.

After reading this log I discovered something important. I have multiple installs of DCS. I have two beta versions, and one stable. One of the betas is a modded install for flying with a group. When I encountered the failure, I'm using the modded install. However the script information below shows it is pulling data from my clean install Open Beta and my stable version with no mods.

So the question is why is SSA looking at two different DCS directories, but not the one I'm actually running. This wasn't an issue until the update that automatically pushed last week.
