This just happened on BlueFlag persian Gulf, I never had that before on any other DCS servers, anyone else noticed this behaviour on any MP server?

if you have only experienced this once, why do you post on the bug report section ???

Actually, why do you even post ?

if you are a " top german Major M2000C WMR pilot with on average 3 A2A kills per sorties " , i guess you play the 2000C quite a lot.

if that "maybe a bug" were a "real bug worthy of being mentionned there" you would have experienced it quite a few time, wouldn't you ?

only bug which are reproductible can be taken into consideration by the dev, if they don t know what triggered it, they can't fix it.

maybe you could think twice about what you post on ED forum / Discord / in game chat…. and SEARCH and READ the answers by google-ing it / reading manuals before posting !

also, you give 0 actual info about the issue you have encountered, you only drop an heavy track file which is from an heavy MP server ( 25+ players at that time ) which takes minutes to load and even more minutes to watch

Because I heard sb. else say (discord) too that currently there seems to be a bug with 7 sec. lock-loosing but there was no bug report here yet, Vilab....

Also please stop trying to lecture me, thanks. Also, you're not the one who must watch the track file, ED staff must (or, "should").

"Virtual European AirForce" is comparable in the bragging-level  but lets not go more off topic

I don't understand what you are saying.

It's a name.

It does not state that we are even good at anything. Please show me where is the bragging in my squadron name, opposed to "top german Major M2000C WMR pilot with on average 3 A2A kills per sorties". ("Top" according to what ?)

The topic isn't even one, there is not bug report only a HUGE track file that no one will go through.

It surely is that you don't understood the situation that you were in (as most of your reports are), and PLEASE go read the manual, I'm sure your answer is in it as it as been with most of your reports.

"VEAF" name already makes it clear (to me at least) that it isn't a place for "amateur" pilots... (meaning you must be a good pilot, and I know you are from your forum posts! You know super much about M2000 and general air combat)

Ok, to finally clear this bug up, here my anonymous source: "When you TWS. If the target changes altitude or azimuth your radar isn't looking in the correct area. Pretty much radar memory will keep the lock until it's dumped (every 7 secs)"

Apparently (rumor, I have no proof of this yet) some DCS player(s) who reported this bug already/who had complained about this bug (have the bug-reports really totally been deleted?) had been banned from the forum.

Also stop with your uber negativity "... that nobody will go through" when clearly we're the customers here (including you) of ED, who (ED) made it their own task to keep their products in "good shape" (including their track-file code-base...)

You couldn't be more wrong.

We have pilots of all experiences and level, we accept everyone experienced or not. We even have some people that come to us with only a few flight hours and that can fly our coop mission as soon as they want.

About your bug, I've not experienced the 7 seconds lock lost you are talking about, I'm only loosing lock when I should.

And you flew on OP BlueFlag Persian gulf server several times the last weeks or not yet? That's where I (and my anonymous source) experienced the "bug".

Here from another player, here the contact just vanishes twice in a row but is still flying.

. Then a third time at 9:41, 5.5 nm range to bandit:

You have no idea what that player is doing, from the looks of in your first clip he is unlocking him to scan the surroundings, second clip the first time I couldn't see the radar screen but i'm betting on a notch and the second time he was notched aswell.

Please provide some relevant data.

Also If I may add, VEAF is a name, IBM is a name, saying you are a "major" "top" player or "average 3 kills per sortie" even though you are nobody is THE DEFINITION of bragging, these are statements that need facts to back them, names are none of those things. And even if you have facts to back all of your claims, it's still bragging because you are rubbing it in everyone's faces.

I talked to the player, he promised me he did NOT unlock him at those moments. But hey, the track file I posted is 10x more reliable anyways, so please check that one if you have doubts. Thanks. Also I'm not "nobody", I was a former 16AGR member... And am just about to join a new Tomcat squadron ;)

No idea who they are, who's a member of their squadrons, what they do, what server do they have, what competition they are taking part in if they do, if they play DCS as a game or as a simulation,...

I was in the 16AGR ya know. Litteraly the most worthless statement to proove you're a competent player that you could have brought up.
