Ziptie Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 Hi - I am wondering if the base F-18 module comes with training sessions and a campaign? If so, how is the campaign? thanks There are limited training scenarios (many of the new systems are not included). There is one “mini” campaign included, that is 4 or 5 missions, relatively basic. sirrah Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 There are also several very good dynamic missions that can be found in this sub-forum. Some of them are getting really close to actual dynamic campaigns, with progress saving functionality. So.. Plenty of stuff to keep you occupied for a looong time (maybe even until the actual dynamic campaign from ED comes alive) System specs: i7-8700K @stock speed - GTX 1080TI @ stock speed - AsRock Extreme4 Z370 - 32GB DDR4 @3GHz- 500GB SSD - 2TB nvme - 650W PSU HP Reverb G1 v2 - Saitek Pro pedals - TM Warthog HOTAS - TM F/A-18 Grip - TM Cougar HOTAS (NN-Dan mod) & (throttle standalone mod) - VIRPIL VPC Rotor TCS Plus with ALPHA-L grip - Pointctrl & aux banks <-- must have for VR users!! - Andre's SimShaker Jetpad - Fully adjustable DIY playseat - VA+VAICOM - Realsimulator FSSB-R3 ~ That nuke might not have been the best of ideas, Sir... the enemy is furious ~ GUMMBAH
CBStu Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 And if you also buy the Persian Gulf map, that will more than double the # of missions you can fly.

Ziptie Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 Could you please point me at any of the dynamic campaigns you would specifically recommend? Thanks in advance Search Surrexen in the creator section of the ED website, user user files. He had created a dynamic campaign, for nearly every map. Then search on the forum for the same. One of them is named “Snowfox” (campaign). Good stuff, even shows you how to have it save your progress so it continues where you left of the next time you open DCS.
