You don't have to wait any longer to feel the new quality that Force Feedback gives you. To build a Force Feedback Base you will need: 1. DIY FFB kit: 57BLF03 x2 + USB - 299€ (+VAT) 2. The complete Case Kit that I am promoting here 3. 19-24V/min. 10A power supply, e.g. this one What makes my Case Kit design unique: - designed for easy assembly - designed for 3D printing (can be screwed and unscrewed - threaded inserts were used), printed with PETG - timing belt tensioning system - moving gimbal elements made of durable material with the addition of carbon fiber (PETG CF) - engines support system for better stability and durability - easy access to the control board - XT60 safe power connector - large 90mm cooling fan - available for shipping right away if in stock, other within 2-3 weeks from order What is included in the Case Kit (option 1) 1. All required screws 2. Preassembled walls (x7) 3. Assembled gimbal 4. Gear wheels (x4) 5. Joystick bellow (made of natural leather) 6. Bellow cover 7. Timing belts (x2) 8. USB connector support 9. Board holder 10. Centering inserts 11. Power cord 12. Assembly instruction Price: 349€ + shipping cost There is also an option 2 order in which the entire Case Kit is assembled and all that remains is to install the VPforce Kit. What is included: 1. All required screws 2. Preassembled box 3. Bottom wall 4. USB connector support 5. Centering inserts 6. Power cord 7. Gear wheel 12T 8. Assembly instruction Price: 379€ + shipping cost Additional options: - gimbal printed from engineering material like PC ABS, PA12+CF, PC+CF (depending on the material: +15÷30€) - limiter with different angles (the original allows the joystick to be tilted 22° degrees in each direction). For example, with a 20cm extension, my limiter is: roll 18° and pitch 20° (for free if it replaces the original) - adapting the design to individual needs (individual pricing) What more is needed to run the device: - USB cable (type A to B) - any flight joystick grip compatible with Thrustmaster (other grips like WinWing and VKB needs an adapter – available here) Contact: I am located in Poland. I can send more pictures and videos in a private message. If you have any questions, feel free to write: rafalg78@gmail.com

Am I the only one with non-working FFB (Sidewinder 2) since the arrival of 2.8? I checked with older DCS versions to make sure the problem is not on my hardware side. But FFB works fine with former versions.

Concerning the problems that have occurred after the newest patch with the Autopilot not working, or not working correctly for users with a FFB stick, I was wondering whether there is any description of how the autopilot is supposed to work with FFB sticks. For Example, should the stick be centred to the neutral position for the AP to engage or should the stick be aligned with the trim indicator on the controls indicator? I think this could greatly help in reducing a lot of confusion that exist around this topic, and lead to more informed and concise description of the occurring problems.

Force Feedback (FFB) doesn't really work. You can use instatrim, but you quickly get disorientated by it, and then the whole point of FFB is lost.

I printed and assembled 90% of this open source project but have just run out of time in life and I feel immense guilt whenever I see this sitting in the corner. Therefore I've decided to sell it to someone who can take it across the finish line. Included is the following: A 3D printed enclosure complete with bearings, pulleys, etc. I had ordered the wrong belts so those need to be purchased. 24V ODrive 3.6 board with brake resistor 2x D5065 270kv motors (already mounted into the enclosure) Mean Well 24V/25A power supply Located in Canada. There is probably $600 USDnull worth of parts here. I'll let it all go for $400 USD (you pay shipping).

Hi, Having a stick-shaker effect on the F-14 helps a lot in maneuvering, pulling to the exact point where buffeting starts, and not overstressing the airframe. Just wondering, if it would be possible to have it for rotor wash on the Apache as well? Sometimes - especially in VR fps drops and really hard to sense the rotor wash... and probably it's already too late if you're close to the ground - which is the case most of the time in the Apache The cockpit already shaking which helps a bit, but that's not really visible/distinctive having a dropped FPS to 20-30. I fly with a gunner and him having a constant look at the displays senses the rotor wash a few seconds sooner than me, whose job should be to get out (or even not get into ) these situations. Thank you, Best

Bug: Use of FFB stick affects auto-pilot and ACLS. Can I reproduce it 100%: Yes If not 100%, how often out of 10: 9 How to reproduce/ description: Engage ACLS and/or Auto-pilot. F-14 frequently not able to sustain level flight with ALT HOLD engaged. Track shows pitching up to 50+ degrees without any player control input. ACLS shuts off and aircraft pitches down once AP ref button pushed. I have sometimes found taxiing through another aircraft's wake can break FFB. Time compression has also caused problems. A restart is necessary to get FFB functioning as it should. Ground Track does not seem t work properly either. Version: 2.9.5.55918 M/T System Specs: Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz 3.70 GHz Installed RAM 64.0 GB Device ID 36C95E96-CEE8-4C82-AF93-9730F33AFFDB Product ID 00330-80000-00000-AA169 System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Windows 11 Pro NVDIA GEFORCE RTX 3070 Peripherals: Joystick: Microsoft Sidewinder FFB2 Throttle: Virpil Controls T-50 CM3 Head-tracker: Third-party Track IR Mission File: Instant Action: F-14A Carrier Quals - Marianas. Track: See attached. Please compare two tracks, with and without FFB sticks. It should also be noted that FFB ceases to work properly if you switch aircraft. A full restart is required. ACLS test with ffb.trk auto throttle test no ffb.trk Workaround: Deselecting 'Use FFB Trim Implementation' in the F-14's Special Menu enables ACLS to work as it should. A shame because realism is sacrificed. Perhaps HB and/or ED will find a fix in future. It should be noted that auto-pilot behaviour remains erratic with FFB. A big thank you to @scommander2 for pointing me in the right direction.
