You're going to find all you need to know in the link below : https://www.wikihow.com/Change-Mouse-Polling-Rate **If your mouse has no software, no problem, in the link you'll find one universal software, I installed, super easy, works! I've underclocked my mouse, 1000hz to 500hz (HZ IS NOT DPI). **You may still experience some fps drop and stutter for many other reasons.

I've been playing on multiple Mp servers and when i come close to other airframes i get horrible lag spikes and stutters that last a few seconds, i assume this is because my game is loading textures, I have already tried deleting fxo and metashaders2 i attached a screenshot of my settings and pc specs

Hello For many months (since around 2.8) I have had significant FPS drops, depending on where I am looking in the game. This happens a little randomly, sometimes everything is fine, and sometimes I have the problem (most of the time ). If I look up to the sky, I go up to about 65-70 fps. If I look down I'm only between 15 and 30 fps. Looking towards the horizon, I am also affected if I am low enough (we will say around 5000 ft). The higher I fly, the better it seems. I particularly have the problem on Caucasus (surprisingly big maps like Syria look better). I play in VR with a G2 reverb, my graphics card is a 3080, my processor is an i7 12700 KF, and I have 64 GB of RAM. Thanks if anyone can help me, I can't find any solutions. I would like to point out that I have also been subject to a lot of blocking from the game menu since 2.9, with 0 FPS when launching the game, even in windowed screen mode, and even after reinstalling the game. I managed to unblock myself Thanks to posts on the forum, I had to unpark all the cores of my processor, and I prohibit DCS from running on the efficient cores of my processor (I therefore only use the performance cores) via process lasso. However I still have the problem of unstable FPS when I am close to the ground on Caucasus. The use of the F10 map is also a factor which pushes me to a temporary drop in FPS. I've already lowered a lot of graphics settings, the only thing that seems to work is to set terrain detail to low, but why sometimes have I no problem ?,Why Syria works better than caucase ?? Thanks dcs.log dcs.log.old

Hello all, I'm experiencing very low fps that's specific to the F4, as in, in a situation where I'm stable at around 80fps in the tomcat, the phantom does around 17fps, and drops even further down. In other situations it is slightly better, sometimes even reaching 60fps, however even in those situations the moment I start to look around fps drops to below 20fps. this seem to be worse on caucuses and worse when lower to the ground. This is happening also with the radar off or even when sitting in a cold dark cockpit. Again, same situation with the tomcat and I do just fine. I have tried lowering my settings some, including my resolution, and haven't had much of an improvement. I'm running a single monitor at 1920x1080. my rig is a ryzen3600xt\rtx2070super with 32gb ram. Dcs is installed in the C drive which is a 500gb m.2 with 75GB of free space. I'm on an up to date windows 10 22H2 with the latest nvidia game drivers. I will try to upload pictures of my graphics settings shortly. I have tried several missions in both Persian gulf and in caucuses, Persian gulf was slightly better. I'm also using opentrack alongside the game, but have made an effort to ensure nothing else is running that would be an issue. I also tried to delete my fxo and metashaders folders and that seemed to be no help. I have just completed running a full repair of dcs and will be trying again, I'll grab screenshots of my settings while I'm at it. This is obviously very frustrating as it makes the aircraft unplayable for me, but I understand that there can be issues in an early access release and I'm eager to provide as much data as I can to help solve this issue, I've seen some others complain of this on reddit aswell. Please advise on further steps to track down the issue. Thanks! Edit: attached a picture of my settings, note in the picture the fullscreen option is unchecked, this is only to allow me to take the picture, actual flying is done in full screen. Also note while lowering settings does help somewhat, checking six still means getting a major stuttering fit which if likened to a coughing fit would alarm even the heaviest of smokers. null

When I'm using either the TGP or Maverick on the right MFD, I get a huge FPS hit when those sensors are looking at the ground. I am using a smaller external monitor (Cubesim 800x600 screens) to display that data. If I use the left MFD to display the sensors (using a different 800x600 Cubesim screen), the FPS does not drop. If the sensors are looking at the sky instead of the ground, the FPS does not drop. If I remove the external Cubesim screens from the game, (change the number of screens and resolution under Options->System) and just use the DCS game to display the sensor data, the FPS does not drop either. VSYNC is turned off and I'm running openBeta 2.9... Anyone got any ideas?

Moving mouse while interacting with cockpit elements prevent the bug from happening. Very slow movements prevent the bug from happening. Unable to reproduce on singleplayer. The issue is a lot worse when recording with a x264 cpu encoder instead of NVIDIA HEVC.
