FYI, LotAtc options cannot be no more retrieved from LotAtc server in OpenBeta 1.2.8RC2, so it is no more compatible... I hope to find a solution to fix it before 1.2.8 release but is is tricky...:(

After some hours spent to find a solution, I was able to fix it, so I will generate a 0.9.1-3 with a fix for 1.2.8 ASAP :)

I've tested that release and it works well in 1.2.8 final.

 

Now im really looking forward to 1.0.0 for more ATC features. :)

Just had some flights with this with Dejjvid as flight commander (both TvT and coop in a busy environment) and me flying F-15 and I must say it adds _a lot_ to the immersion! I haven't tried the application myself but everyone who had seemed to agree it was very well-made. Great work!

I really enjoy your LotATC, and we are using it alot in our virtual wing.

 

I just have a question, would it be possible to add a feature where the controller can plot in coordinates and create zones in the LotATC client?

 

That way a certain flight can be designated a airspace to work in, and it would be easy to see if they violate that airspace

I've seen somewhere that annotations are coming. But I don't know if you can do shapes and lines. But it's a really useful feature.

Yes, I know that, I saw that on the LotATC site in the roadmap section, but I looking for the possibility to actually add coordinates aswell, and not only the annotations

The easy workaround is to move cursor to the correct location and make a mark when we get the annotation feature.

What does es higher update time, let's say 0,083 (5 seconds)? Why is 2 minutes default? With an update only every 2 minutes? You can't guide an intercept flight with such low updater time. :huh:

If we're talking about the same thing, map update. Default is two seconds, and that's more then enough to act as ATC/controller

I confirm, this is 2 seconds. It is balanced for correct refresh and best server performances. You can play with this parameter, but it is not guarantee to have good performances with less than 2s :)

LotAtc always need to know where to connect. Hopefully DArt have time to implement a simple address book or favorites. I've not tested if DNS or host names work. E.g. LOCALHOST or dcs.awesome.net
