I've recently installed the TARGET software. However, whenever I attempt to start it, I get an Unhandled Exception Error. I've reinstalled a few times. I discovered a thread wherein a solution was found by copying UIAutomationcore.dll over to the Target X64 folder but that didn't work for me. I've contacted TM Tech Support but I'm not sure how long it will be before I get an answer. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Probably nothing, but I have seen some strange interactions with other "keyboard" software, for example, the Logitech Gaming Software, and Razer Synapes.

Maybe try exiting any such you may be running and try TARGET again?

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm not running anything else. Thrustmaster had me check to be sure I'm running .net Framework 4.0 or better which I am. Other than that they basically told me that it was my problem. I know I'm not the only one with the issue. I love the Warthog stick and throttle but I am very disappointed in the tech support. All I want to do is turn down the throttle lights a little and explore the software a little. Thanks again for the suggestion.

Did you unplug stick and throttle before installing TARGET? If not, disconnect them, reinstall TARGET and plug them in again.

For those that may be interested.

SOLUTION from Thrustmaster:

"Make sure that you have the latest version of .Net Framework 4.0 installed along with Visual C++ Redistributable 2005, 2008, 2010 corresponding to your version of OS (and you should also try and install both the 32 and 64 bits version)."

I had .Net 4.0 and Visual C++ 2012.

The solution didn't work for me. The controls are brand new. They work great. The TARGET software crashes.

The target software can run without anything connected.

Did you try to run target without the stick and throttle connected?

It might be some sort of VC++ dll errors. As long as stick as working, u should be able to use it fine in game. I guess you might have to repair the vc++ install libraries ...but I don't know what else ...apart from a fresh format and reinstall of windows.

At this point I've given up on the software. The controllers work great. I was hoping to turn the lights down on the throttle a little. I can live with things the way they are. I had CH products for years and never really used the CH Manager except for calibration so, its no big deal. Thank you to everyone for taking time out to read and make suggestions.
