thinkr Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 (edited) To be honest I would say it would be better to just make the Mig15 an Artificial Intelligence Plane this would cut production costs and you could just add it as a bonus for buying the F86 with a little more added to the price example. F86+Mig15 AI = $50. Other than that the F86 would be the reason to fly the 15 would be nice to be there so you can shoot it down as AI. They were both made from the same stolen German plans anyway. I enjoy how they like making things bigger. Airbuster Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Both, hope there's a Korea theater too, sometimes in the future. That will be great!

Grim_Smiles Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Not sure why there isn't a "Both" option. And like Cichlidfan said by the time it releases this poll won't matter. Many on here are always hungry for the next module anyway, by the time the MiG-15 is out (if indeed it does come out) a lot of those who were interested in the Sabre will likely buy the MiG-15 - if anything they will buy it just to try something different. srky Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 They don't really expect us to have only the sabre without the mig-15, do they? We had P-51 for some time and now Dora is coming out so I think it all goes in that general direction. How long we had a Flanker without F-15? It will take a long time to mig-15, no doubt, but interest is definitely here and ED and partners or third party developers will recognize this. Having just one of them kinda sucks... turns Digital Combat Simulator into Digital Airshow Simulator...
Cedaway Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 F-86 for me. And I would like a team to consider the creation of a korean map too... or at least the famous 'mig alley', the northwestern portion of North Korea where the Yalu River empties into the Yellow Sea. Rongor Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 I can't tell which module I would like to play more, as none was released yet and I never didn't fly any of them. How would votes preferring the Sabre over MiG help to state a community's wish to also get the MiG in the future? Regarding the OP's comment I don't understand his poll as long as the "like to have them both" option is missing since that would be a valid backing opinion to the context of this thread.
leafer Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 I'm sure he's asking which of the two jets are your favorite based on looks and what you've heard of it in the real world. Then one can assume that'd be the one you fly most. ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P
martinistripes Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 I had no idea the Mig was so much smaller. I'd buy both but probably fly the Sabre more. Yes, it seems back then, even the MiG pilots were smaller than their US counterparts, so as to fit in their tiny jets. Seriously, I'm wondering if that image was photoshop'd. Or did the US pilots just have bigger helmets. :D Valve Index | RTX 4080 (Mobile) | i9-14900HX @ 2.20 GHz | 32GB RAM
mjmorrow Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 (edited) I will definitely get the Mig-15bis. I will use both the Sabre and the Fagot. I don't know which I will use more. I will join whichever multiplayer side needs players. Frankly, I am a big fan of both the Sabre and the Fagot. Each brings something unique to the equation. The Sabre is a great fighter, with superlative roll rate, instantaneous turn, and sustained dive speed. The Fagot is a fantastic bomber interceptor, can climb like a banshee and has three cannons to punch right through a bomber formation. Each will offer unique advantages and challenges. Edited September 19, 2014 by mjmorrow [sIGPIC]http://i688.photobucket.com/albums/vv250/mjmorrow76/SPAD%20of%20a%20new%20generation_zpshcbftpce.png[/sIGPIC]
