Pman Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Nice picture Pete, must have been a good photographer :music_whistling: Erich was very pleased with his visit and specifically mentioned how he enjoyed meeting you. I hope I'm not spilling any beans in saying that Erich also gave invaluable input to the development of the DCS Dora. More to come on this, I'm sure. MAC Cherish those moments for sure... wont be long and they wont be available anymore... oh for sure, It was prob the highlight of my weekend without doubt :) I only wish I could have spent more time with him :) Pman

Mobius_cz Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Really impressive pics :) . I like the FW 190 A/F version with radial engine more than Dora. I even didn't want it to buy, but after reading a lot of documents i was amazed by this plane [sIGPIC]http://dcs-uvp.cz/images/userbars/uvp_bars_mic.gif[/sIGPIC]
KRI3G Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Here's a couple of beautiful pics of an FW-190 by a guy called Gavin Conroy of Classic Aircraft Photography. What a beautiful warbird. I Really do love the earlier FW's. :pilotfly:
Narushima Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Doesn't look like a FW to me. Looks like a replica with a R-2800 in the nose and fw 190 A-6/A-7 frame. FW 190 Dora performance charts: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=128354

Yeah, Flugwerk replicas are nice but that area over engine/nose are not too authentic looking. Still lovely birds! Their D9/n looks more like real deal IMO, sadly no flying example around yet. I've heard rumours that there might be couple ones in future with original Jumo's... ED Team Groove Posted July 22, 2014 ED Team Posted July 22, 2014 As for the Dora, i'm sure they will seek the counsel of pilots qualified to present some input. A Dora pilot is involved. Our Forum Rules: http://forums.eagle.ru/rules.php#en
