Yes, but I would prefer to get Lat Lon coordinates or MGRS...

I am planning to build a flight plan for this tonight.

The Lat/Lon coordinates are in there though? regardless, make it and I'll throw it into the OP. With your name credited, of course.

The first page has the coordinates listed in DMS Lat Lon (Degrees minutes seconds) minus the seconds so it is less accurate.

I was wanting MGRS (Military grid reference system) "4QFJ 12345 67890" accurate up to 1 meter. Or for example LAT 27.174923 Lon 78.041832

I am working on the flight plan now, I'll see what I can come up with.

I have all (current) waypoints plotted on the map. I changed the order in which each waypoint is flown as to make the flight plan flow better from north to south starting from Anapa and ending in Batumi.

18 waypoints total.

Route length = 608 NM

Range 332 NM

I am going to verify some waypoint locations in game and I will upload as soon as I can.

Attached is the flight profile.

I used the Ka-50 as the default aircraft because it has the route following autopilot and it's also able to carry external fuel tanks for long flights like this one. But you can change it to any model you would like.

This file starts at 0700 in the Ka-50 along with 3 other wingmen to keep you company. (No weapons and four external fuel tanks)

I will update the file as more locations become available.

Thanks for everything mike! Unfortunately I'm currently in the middle of a tornado, so wifi isn't quite working well :D (posting from my phone using cell data at the moment) but when I get the chance I'll throw it into the OP!

Flight plan has been attached to the OP now.

I would still consider this list to be a work-in-progress, as I seriously doubt that tha'ts everything special in the map. Feel free to contribute, anyone and everyone.

Next project is adding screenshots of everything on the list.

I'm sure there are other notable items you are missing. While I'd love to contribute I'm not sure the file I have containing the location of every single power line is all that useful for your purposes. :music_whistling:

I've been looking for that depot for a long time now. Still haven't found it.

Have you tried looking underground?

Come to think of it, if you want to make it challenging... Find the following:

3 Pavilions, 14 Observatories, 4 Weather radars, 2 basketball courts, 10 power plants, 41 movie theaters, 144 tennis courts, and 94 buffet restaurants.

Some of those might be a nice addition to the tour. :)

That mission's not compatible with the current DCS version, is it?

Edit: Also, I can't seem to find those oil fields. Any help here?

It's not compatible but here's the old mission map with waypoints as a series of images: Brit Radar Dude's Caucasus Tour (5.6MB). Perhaps it'll help. I had planned to create a video of the tour but...well...life overtook me.

Hey! It's a tour not a treasure hunt :D

Give me some coordinates...

Marked with heliports. Check the really big ring of heliports with two arrows pointing to it too.

How to change the mission to a fixed wing aircraft?

Thanks for posting this!

I do have a question about the mission. I downloaded the file from the post #1 and opened it in the mission editor. I want to change the aircraft to a fixed wing (e.g. Su-25T, which can also fly low and has route following autopilot). But the mission editor only allows me to choose helicopters. Is this a "helicopter group" vs "airplane group" issue?

Is there any way to change it without loosing all the waypoints? I tried editing manually the "mission" file inside the .miz archive but without success (mission wouldn't work).

Thanks

Tuapse has some neat scenery - a stadum at 44°05'47"N, 039°04'02"E and a number of ships at the docks (including a cruise ship). There are numerous little beach resorts along the coast with sailboats sitting out in the ocean (just static, but still fun to buzz!). There are also lighthouses dotting the coastline here, too many to point out, but quite scenic overall.

Also, Batumi has a big trainyard at 41°38'47"N 041°39'07"E, right next to the ship yard. It's not heavily populated by default, but adding cars makes it look busy!

I found the location of the underground depot but I only dropped bombs I could attach to an Su-25.

I think I might need an A-10 (with some kind of bunker buster) to do the job but I don't wanna learn the A-10 and configure all the keys right now. Do I have any other options?
