kazereal Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Yes. Please note that work has only just begun, so it will be some time before we can show anything. Still, it is a big milestone to reach, in my mind anyway :) "I would have written a shorter post, but I did not have the time."
msalama Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 ...so it will be some time before we can show anything. Doesn't matter. You're making steady progress regardless - and that, if anything, is commendable. S! The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.
tomcatter Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 Just one "dreamer" question: have you, as a team, think about develop the F-5M. Because when the ED´s Hornet will come, that will give DCS World the full Spanish air force jet training school: C-101 basic jet training, F-5M fighter/weapons training and finally the Hornet. I know that is a little soon to think about the next aircraft while you are working hard on the current one, but this is a idea that is been around my head since the official announcement about the release of the Aviojet was made. And with the VEAO´s Eurofighter, we will be able to fly the whole Spanish Air Force inventory in one year or two maybe. That will be awesome.
Tango Posted August 28, 2014 Author Posted August 28, 2014 I know that is a little soon to think about the next aircraft while you are working hard on the current oneWell actually... ;) We will have updates soon. Apologies for the silence - we are working on a few other things in the background that we can't talk about (yet). Best regards, Tango.
JuanOscar Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 As Robin says, we have been moving on the next project, but we have to tie things before make a jump into the pool. Also take in count, that we could have our preferences or ideas. like you said, but is not all up to us. As soon as we can make an official announcement, we will, we are very excited about what is coming. Anyway, right now our major part of the time is focused on C-101, because algo interesting things are coming with the culopo. :D [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Vedexent Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Just one "dreamer" question: have you, as a team, think about develop the F-5M. I too would love an F-5 variant (although I'd probably slap an RCAF livery on it and claim it's a CF-116 ;) ). However, I'm not pushing it; Tango is already working on two aircraft that I want now (L-39, please :) ), I don't want to divide efforts further.
tomcatter Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Thank you Robin and JuanOscar, for your quick answer. I appreciate all the info you are giving us, and didn´t want to stress you. I"ll wait for the news when they will be ready. Good luck with the future, and work hard to let us fly the culopollo.
