bkrull Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Hello, all I'm a rank beginner with A-10C and want to come up on the learning curve. I was wondering if their is someone there willing to give private instruction? I'd be willing to pay, of course. Also, I'm looking for a squadron that's beginner friendly. I'm plowing through the tutorials, again, and re-reading the manual. The learning process is very slow. In addition to here, I can be reached at barbebill@icloud.com. I would appreciate any and all help. Thanks in advance. Bill Krull

Fakum Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Im not new, but im not that good! Ive been flying the Hog since it came out, problem is I dont get alot of time in the seat and get rusty. I have been hopping in the 144th server the last 2 weeks and just by listening I have learned more. I am on the east coast USA and can ly between 6-8 pm. I am more than willing to hop in an almost empty server to hook up with anyone and learn or share what I do understand. teamspeak will be essential. Blooze Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 (edited) Thanks, Blooze. I'm in GMT + 6 (CST). I host MP missions daily at 8PM CST so click my sig for details and feel free to log in to our Teamspeak channel if you like. It's just a small casual group that flies coop missions designed for 4 to 8 pilots. No pressure, just good times. Edited August 15, 2014 by Blooze [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

bkrull Posted August 15, 2014 Author Posted August 15, 2014 Sabre, I had the Maple Flag missions. I had to reformat my PC so I'll have re download them. I did have a hard time getting through them, I was such a newbie. Bill
Reksi-Erkki Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 While I'm not currently flying with Blooze's squad, I can easily recommend it - easy going people with plenty of expertise to share, and nobody ever seemed to get annoyed with the Eternal Newbie asking the same question over and over again. 1 Dear Shilka. I hate you so very very much. Love, Rex
Fakum Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Id be interested in hooking up with some people for specific training, not necessarily to fly missions. Example would be a couple of guys in the same group, set different ID's and practice hooking targets and broadcasting them to others in your group,,, stuff like that. bkrull Posted August 19, 2014 Author Posted August 19, 2014 Blooze, I had a great time last night. Thanks for your and Jack's patience and all your help. I look forward to many enjoyable hours flying with you guys. I just took my PC to the shop. A couple of days ago, I began having problems opening applications. They simply wouldn't open. I googled it and it's not an uncommon problem. I tried everything I know and read online and nothing worked. I'm taking it to the shop today. I hope it won't take more than 2-3 days. Maybe my throttle board will be in by then. I'll try to connect to TeamSpeak this afternoon. Bill
