mjolner Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 (edited) Flying the DCS Dora is truly a new experience in flight simming. The subtlies of the flight model are impressive to say the least. The Dora is a pleasure to fly and it gives me chills to image all of my favorite warbirds modelled the DCS way. Thanks ED! I know the D9 fits the upcoming "1944" time frame but I sure would love to a DCS FW190 A series. Even the A1 with 4 MG17 and two MG FF/Ms. I have the excellent classic hangars A1 for FSX and I just love the throaty radial sound and low tech feel. Its like flying a machine that still has its roots in the fighters of WWI. In any case, I wait with anticipation for 1944. Edited August 25, 2014 by mjolner
Kirin Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 An Anton would make me very happy as well! Real men fly radial! But the Dora is a dream - looking forward for the 1944 planeset to fill up!
NeilWillis Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 (edited) I know what you mean, and I would love to see the A modelled too. I want to see other stuff sooner though, like an Me109, even if I am dreading trying to get to grips with the ground-handling of that beast! Edited August 25, 2014 by NeilWillis
WinterH Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Well, the Fw-190A8 is on VEAO's roadmap already :) Wishlist: F-4E Block 53 +, MiG-27K, Su-17M3 or M4, AH-1F or W circa 80s or early 90s, J35 Draken, Kfir C7, Mirage III/V DCS-Dismounts Script
ZaltysZ Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Real men fly radial! Because they can bravely duck behind engine on head on attacks and can bravely not care about getting a bullet into coolant radiator. :D Wir sehen uns in Walhalla.

It is outdated and would have not a single enemy that it would fight against on "equal" terms. All hail Fw190A8!!!! It is perfect for 1944 and it would be awesome to see in the game. 2xMG131 and 4xMG151/20 Edited August 25, 2014 by Solty [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]In 21st century there is only war and ponies.
