Very strange i've been on TS with one of my squadmates this evening and he did this with no crash or problems at all - he was running 14.4 and as soon as he dropped this dll into his bin folder he gained around 8-10 fps (7970 card)

Yea it is. It's ZweiBlau.dll that's crashing. As soon as I remove the dll, it runs fine. Tried a repair and didn't make a difference.

I must be missing something, tried it on my beta install that is still on 1.2.8 and it crashes exactly the same.

Curious if anyone else has used it with a 7870 and had success.

I saw that he did, just really weird as I've had no issues using the injections up until now.

Just tried 4 other versions dll's and they all worked, it's just this one that won't.

Also downloaded the full driver set Mustang linked and extracted the dll from there, same result.

need help

Can you please explain how to prepare and install this driver on win7 64 ? What to modify? Iam using hd 6970 card

Regarding the injecting atiumd64.dll - do I have just to copy it in folder bin ?

Hmm Catalyst 14.41? OpenCL 2.0, 64 bit only and looks like only GCN cards can use them.

UPDATE: it seems this driver needs .inf modding to correctly install, dropping the atiumd64.dll into bin folder is the best way to go for the time being.

http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/OpenCL2-Driver.aspx

edit: seems like this driver is a winner and stomps all over the 14.8 or 14.x beta (the one i've been using recently in DCS) i used the atiumd64.dll injection method to bin folder in DCS and observed these results (FPS top corner)

F-15 quickstart mission, enter cockpit and immediately pause the sim looking straight ahead (card is a HD7850 2gb @ 1050/1450)

44 FPS before with 14.x (14.8 will be near similar)

UBP7k6c.png

52 after with the newer 14.41 atiumd64.dll

opJ3Y4j.png

incredible, i have never had 60 fps around Novorossiysk like this before, and this is with 30km districts visibility!

MRk9hu9.png

this is no placebo, i can see the change in FPS as soon as i remove the .dll - i have uploaded the file below if anyone wants to try.

Hi hreich, you should download the modded driver from here

http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=393257

and as for the .dll injection it is very simple, just extract the atiumd64.dll from the rar and drop it into the bin folder for DCS World and observe and FPS changes versus the older driver :)

I'll see what happens when i move up from the 14.4 or 14.6 dlls.

i think the 14.41 might require a more recent build due to supporting libs use by the new dll.

my office has decided to restructure, so the internet is out on all terminals here, so during office hours my access tto the forums is limited to mobile web, which sometimes doesnt cooperate. And is a task just to navigate on a small 3.5' screen.

The guy in my squad was using 14.4 and dropping the 14.41 .dll into the bin folder worked straight away with good results.

I'm going to try that later, install 14.4 and drop the dll. Not sure I want to install the full 14.41 but I guess I could give that a shot too.

It works fine here,

Using A-10C Serpents Mission, Pause at Start, Zoom Out, Center Cockpit View.

26 FPS with 14.41 DLL 3 Screens + Helios on 4th (7440x1080) Everything Maxed, 2X MSAA, HDR COLD, 512 Displays.

24 FPS without (Catalyst 14.7)

My Big FPS Boost will come with DX11 and CrossFire Support :)

FPS gains will prolly be more in other modules that dont run exported displays.

Finally got this to work today, what I did exactly I have no idea. Did re-download it so maybe the original was corrupted in some way. Saw a nice little boost in FPS. Thanks again Mustang, and AMD also I suppose.

A thousand thankyous, Mustang. I got a 50% FPS boost on a desktop replacement laptop using this. Even in the MiG-21.

hmm i updated to 14.41 with the asder00 cracked version for my 6970 card and confirmed the atium64.dll was in place but my frames are actually about 10-20% worse now.

Because they were tuned for GCN GPUs.. which a 6970 is not.

A bit late on this.

What I do is take the atiumd64.dl_ ( there isn't an atiumd64.dll in the rar) and put it on the DCS bin folder as said. If i leave it as a .dl_ it does nothing, if I rename it to atiumd64.dll the game crashes immidiately before the launcher loads. Do I have to do anything else?

Also, no SweetFX, no ENB, and I'm running 14.8.

Hi remon.

You must not simply rename the .dl_ file to a .dll file. You have to expand it using a command prompt. See here for instructions on how to do it:

Hope this helps remon.

"'expand' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."

EDIT: Nevermind, it seems like you can open these files with 7zip.

And thanks for the help.

Just to be clear remon, you will still have to expand the .dl_ file once you have extracted it with 7-zip.

"Every file that ends with a _ will require you to expand it so that it can be usable as an actual file. For example, let’s expand atiumdag.dl_. Type ‘expand atiumdag.dl_ atiumdag.dll‘ (press enter to execute the command obviously) and you should now have the complete .DLL file"
