DamoX Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 I get around 45-55 fps in the cockpit view in the air and around the same on the ground.. for reference all other modules are a solid 60 other then extremely close to the ground or in the middle of a city, something's up, oh well, it's to be expected. Gives me time to get the 3 screens working, when spanned with NVidia it plasters your face against the front of the cockpit lol, need to be able to zoom out more!
theGozr Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Here for AMD GPU users.. try that if you are running CF. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2195678#post2195678 Fly it like you stole it..
DamoX Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Correction, I had something else running at the time and didn't know it lol... I get a solid 60 now no matter what im doing, sorry lol. I 4930 at 4.4gig 16 gig at 1444 MHz 780TI If that helps.
sokolus Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 OK, few words from me. Today, I made a simple ramp start mission with MiG, on Mineralnye Vody airport. When I started a mission on 07:00 with sun just below the horizon line, I got stable 60 fps in cockpit, and 45-60 outside. After that I tried with another time of day, and with sun on the sky, I got only 25-35 fps. Why there is so big difference? My sys: Win 7 64 i5 760 2.8@3.6 Radeon 7970 6 GB RAM [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
leapingrodent Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Hmm.. Maybe because of the more complex lighting at that time?
theGozr Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Halo ? Somebody home ? ;) Fly it like you stole it..

I think there's an old thread explaining this, IIRC you can even change a lua file in a way that you have the same FPS at night and during the day. I wonder what's your FPS using the in game ramp start mission inside cockpit and looking at the 2 migs at your left. I have 15. EDIT : 10 before overclock :( Edited October 3, 2014 by Cyb0rg [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Asteroids ____________________________________________ Update this :D

Cyb0rg Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 (edited) After install 1.2.10.32582 Update 3, i can load the tutorial ramp start mission with acceptable frames rate (inside the cockpit when looking at both migs on the left i have 22-24 FPS). Happy camper here. Edit : Edited October 7, 2014 by Cyb0rg [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Asteroids ____________________________________________ Update this :D
JorgeIII Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 FPS are MUCH better in the last beta release. Tried it in MP with 3 to 5 Migs and we all could fly OK. FPS might already be at the same lever of the other modules. Thanks LN. AKA TANGO-117. DCS Modules: most of them, proficiency: only a few at a time. The most crucial aspect of a simulator is its realistic physics and precise aerodynamics, accurately reflecting all flight conditions.
Corrigan Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 (edited) The LODs are still broken, but I'm sure LNS knows this. EDIT: They seem fixed in the new update! WolfK33 Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 (edited) Hmm, I had no problems before, now with the release update 3 I´m getting weird micro-pauses every few seconds where the movement and the sound stops when flying the Mig. edit: I just checked, I have those micro-pauses in the other modules as well since updating. Weird and not nice. Never seen this before. Edited October 10, 2014 by WolfK33
SimEnjoy Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 (edited) Leatherneck Simulations, Good work! Thanks! My mig21 is updated ok. Now FPS is up to 30 FPS (+30% in my system) Very interesting plane! Good luck in sales! p.s. my resolution 1600x1200 graphic options is almost everything on high Edited October 11, 2014 by SimEnjoy [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Core i5 3.4 /16 GB RAM/ HD7850 2 GB RAM/ 27" AH-IPS/T.16000M PC

WolfK33 Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 After a reboot the "big" micropauses incl. stopping sound are gone, but overall in the Mig (didn´t check anything else so far after rebooting) it´s not as fluid as before. Never measured FPS before or after, but before all was just smooth, now it feels not necessarily like low FPS but like being fluid but with 10 small stutters per second. Hard to describe I hope y´all understand what I mean. Specs are i7-3770 3.4 GHz, 16GB RAM, GTX 660 Ti No unusual hdd activity to be seen. Unfortunately no more time to test tonight.

But as WolK33 said, I am experiencing the same stutters, hope you'll improved this soon  My PC specs are on my signature [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Corrigan Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 (edited) So does anyone else have less FPS now in the cockpit than the previous patch? Better than the original release, though! lmp Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 I think I'm seeing some microstutters too unfortunately, though overall FPS went up by 5 - 10.

SimEnjoy Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 (edited) If Micro freezes(micro-pauses): Highly unstable FPS. An example, FPS from 15 to 50. some one frame still 0.5 seconds, other some frame - two seconds. But the average of FPS is high also the good. Decision: 1. limit the maximum FPS 2. Vertical synchronization check 3. Check parallel loading of HDD 4. Check S.M.A.R.T HDD system (relocation sectors cycle function on run can occupy HDD strongly!) 5. Check fragmentation HDD 6. Check and change setting video driver profile game exe file 8. Check stability max of CPU clocks 9. Check the power unit has to be not strongly old 10. Check temperature components in your system P.s. on my system virtual memory is full OFF and size 0.
