iFoxRomeo Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Couldn´t find a related thread. Flying in SP, the clouds suddenly disappeared after hitting F2 a few times. This happened a couple of times before. This time I had shadowplay background recording enabled. Unfortunately I missed to save the replay. If it happens again I will save the track. No audio, as I was listening to copyrighted music. Static weather setting was used. DCS 1.2.11 Open Beta Anyone else noticed this? ED Team BIGNEWY Posted November 7, 2014 ED Team Posted November 7, 2014 This is a long standing reported issue, switching views will make the clouds disappear, used unfortunately to an advantage in multiplayer. iFoxRomeo Posted November 7, 2014 Author Posted November 7, 2014 They never re-drew themselves? Thinking it was maybe a temp. thing? No. They didn´t redrew. This is a long standing reported issue, switching views will make the clouds disappear, used unfortunately to an advantage in multiplayer. Thanks. This is bad. I hope it will be better with EDGE. And for MP: I´m a fan of disabling external views on the server-side. ...but the altitude of your aircraft at 0:50 and 0:55 aren't match! Different scenes! ...or is it just video mixing issue? The MiG shown in external view at low altitude is a AI MiG, it is not me. The video is raw. Only Audio removed, annotations via youtube, otherwise untouched. Mustang Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Easy bug to reproduce: put clouds in a mission, goto F10 and click on Beslan airbase (furthest east on map) then goto F11, then go back to F10 and click on Anapa - go F11 and see the clouds vanish.
ED Team NineLine Posted November 7, 2014 ED Team Posted November 7, 2014 Thanks. This is bad. I hope it will be better with EDGE. Fox Sounds like we are getting new clouds with EDGE, so I hope so to. Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
