Got my jetseat today and it's great - just what I was expecting.

However I do get a high pitched sort of squeaking noise during some vibrations... it's not overly loud but definitely noticeable. Pretty hard to go through 140 pages of comments but is this normal? Any tips?

A motor may need a little lube or just some break in time. Let it go awhile, will likely work itself out. Enjoy this great adjunct to your sim.

Hi Andre,

Quick questions: I notice you have a site with the price in RUB and that there is also a http://www.gametrix.eu/ site with the price in euros. Which one would be best to use for a UK customer?

Are they both yours or is the eu one a different company?

Finally how long is shipping typically to the UK?

Thanks, really excited for this with my Rift!

Hi Ryder35,

eu one is a different reseller.

Which one is better for you should be your decision. Some offers you can find only on my site. I accept multiple currencies via PayPal. Talking about Gametrix JetSeat KW-908, me and that site are rivals.

Delivery to UK by regular mail takes about 2 weeks, by express delivery (Dimex in my case) takes about 4-5 business days.

Gametrix JetSeats thread (in English) ,

SimShaker addon for bass-shakers thread (in English),

Andre's blog, downloads, manuals (in English).

Are the KW-908 in limited supply from manufacturer? I ordered one from gametrix.ru 4 months ago, but it has still not shipped, and support isn't returning my e-mails.

Yes, actually I have it in stock, but I'm away from home and can't ship till the 8th Jan.

Thanks Andre, order placed: really looking forward to trying it out.

Andre, first of all say that the KW-908 is amazing. It is the perfect complement to virtual reality and I am delighted with it, although I have a problem.

In version 1.5.8. DCS Canon / Gunfire works perfectly on all aircraft (jets, helicopters, pistons) but in version 2.2, Canon / Gunfire does not work on the piston engine.

I am doing something wrong?

Thanks and best regards

I answer myself. The canon's vibration dont work with unlimited weapons selected in the game.

Thanks again.

Also placed my order on Andres shop and cancelled from Gametrix.eu. Hope they don't mind but seems like Andre is doing a good job here and deserves some more orders :)

Hi, seems like the 908 model is back out of stock on the Russian site, I can't add it to the cart. Is there another shipment coming in soon?

I'm curious about the availability of the 908. I ordered it 4 months ago from the russian gametrix shop, but it hasn't shipped yet.

That's why many of us here ordered directly from Andre. I ordered mine last year and it literally got here in 3-4 days with the express shipping option. Plus, Andre is very easy to communicate with and always answers either on here or through messages. I definitely recommend ordering from him if you are in the states as there is no other party that will guarantee your delivery.

I have the k908 air and I have been thinking to swap it out for the modified edition or the sim edition without the center cut out. I wouldn't fly without this seat now it's just not the same.

If i knew about Andre's shop back then i would have ordered from him instead.. in hindsight :music_whistling:

For anyone who's tried both the standard 908 and Andre's flight sim edition. Are the motors less padded (more noticable bumps) compared to the standard version? Not having a rubber surface is probably more comfortable when flying in boxer shorts.

Haha I have the k908 air..it's fine in boxer briefs during the summer..depending on the jet you're flying. Something light and fast..watch how you are sitting unless you want a kick in the boys.

I think the flight sim edition is made of better material, looks to be easier to maintain. The left strap of my k908 broke so it's just held on now by the bottom Velcro band but no issues mechanically. I did have to give the motors a good punch once in a while but nothing major. I'm also wondering if the sim edition would fit most computer chairs. Some chairs that are thicker, and taller you may have some issues strapping them in.

I have the flight sim edition. The motors are like rocks. I am 5' 10"" and weight about 200 lbs. The motors cut off my blood circulation when I sit in the seat for long periods. I have stuffed it with old t-shirts to help out, but they don't help that much and at the same time damp the vibrations a little bit. I need to go to a store that has the right type of foam and a tool like a hot wire for properly cutting the foam.

I love the product. The vibrations add a lot to VR flying. The appearance of a real ejection seat cushion is a big plus since my seat is a wooden mockup of a real F-4 ejection seat and has the real F-4 seat cushions. Laying the sim edition over my seat doesn't change the authentic look at all. But the original cushion underneath is very compressed/firm, so there is not give when I put weight on the motors.

Got my seat and its great. Vibrations are spot on I had to even reduce them a bit.

Minor minus point is the motor is a bit noisy but if you use headphone no issue at all. VR immersion went up a lot.

Its also way cheaper than my SimVibe Chassis mode in my SimRacing Rig where I had to buy 4 mini lfe basshaker and a quadchannel amp along with a second soundcard.

So big thumbs up.

ALso 10 out 10 for the software. It was basically plug and play. Took me 5 minutes and it directly recognbized the hardware and launched the Harrier profile.

Perhaps having a thicker/more elastic cushion underneath would push the motors downwards and while still damping the weight of the pilot. i can imagine it being rock hard if they are pushed right into a wooden seat.

I'm very interested in getting the best simulation of as possible (within a certain budget ofcourse) of flying, and something like the 908 sounds like it's the next logical step for me after i got a Rift. I'm a little sensitive to motion sickness, unfortunately. Of course i always end up doing rolls in Nevada while looking out the window late at night when i'm tired and should be in bed, which always ends with me getting nauseated. Does a feedback device like this help reduce this by tricking the brain?
