Hey guys. The new iteration of Leopard on 2.5.1 doesn't allow the hueys on blue side to use the command post to pick up troops/crates. I spawned at farp Romeo and that is where command post is but cannot get radio menu to display any options for crates/troops

Did you load up a sp mission? Are you aware of all the memory issues affecting loading times for all servers including DDS??

 

I have no issues on DDS. Only on 104th.

257.8 is GCI/AWACS, but everyone pretty uses it as the all-talk channel.

 

140.0 for ground, 128.0 for ATC if you want to use the proper channels.

I can load all the servers but the 104th. Sad day for me as it was the only server I flew in. Same problem though. I have 16Gb of Ram and It fills up to 12 in a jiffy then. Ive let DCS sit and do its thing for hours and nothing...

Huh what you talking about? They just re-introduced the old missions that where always run before operation longbow. It was always like this.

There's a good explanation from Maverick about how 104th design its mission in mind in this thread.

Personally, I like this airquake style mission as its simple and don't need some kind of preparation like you do in BF. Fly, shoot, and die then repeat or go to sleep with smile on your face

I feel sorry for you. There's definitely something wrong with your system as I dont have such problem. Mind you, I'm even far away from this server. With the DCS memory management patch and reintroduced old missions, 104th server becomes much faster loading time for me.

They put back into rotation revamped versions of old missions. 104th Maverick also did a good job trouble shooting the server and missions to address connection/lag rubberbanding issues

To me, Longbow was a good medium between air quake and at least some representation of a more realistic sortie. At least the aircraft on each side where more realistic. There were many choices of where to attack and there was some strategy involved. The missions running now seems to want to concentrate everyone in a small portion of the map.

 

I'm guessing that most people who like this air quake stuff are flying FC aircraft where there is little investment on learning/using the more advanced systems on other aircraft.
