No Axis command for the collective?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys :)

So, I'm trying to set up some controls for the Huey, however I've bumped into a bit of a problem when it comes to the collective. I simply can't find any axis command for it?

This is all I see:

I do have a "throttle" option, however I don't want to bind the throttle on my Joystick, I want the collective :) What's going on here?

Yet none of this explains why there are no Keyboard Commands let alone how to recover them.

Surely there were Default Keyboard Commands initially !!! NO ?

Oddly, I have this very same issue for many of my Mods now.

I don't know when it happened but it was since one of the last few updates.

Anyone have a solution for getting back to the Stock Keyboard Commands ? Those in the Controls/Input folders in C:\\ Eagle Dynamics\DCS world etc >>> don't seem to restore these commands.

Have you enabled your mods with JSGME?

If so have you tried disabling them to see if it is a mod which causes your problem?

Otherwise you could try a repair installation.

Hi Cibit and golani79

I myself have not deleted anything.

I have also tried Restoring/Repairing both with and without JSGME (I only have 2 Mods anyway).

The fact is, the Saved Games/..../Input/Keyboard are ALL EMPTY.

Even the Input/Keyboard folders from C:\Prog Files\..... Input folders are useless.

Nothing that I'd consider obvious has worked. Nothing that I have tried will restore any of these "AXIS-related" Keyboard Commands for any of my Aircraft/Mods.

I have come to the conclusion (with the help of DCS Tech Sup't) that I have no choice but to Uninstall and Reinstall EVERYTHING !

My concern now is how to go about doing that effectively with regards to License Keys and Max. Installations ......... as well as "whether or not" I have to uninstall/reinstall in any specific order with regards to DCS World; Blackshark 1 and Blackshark 2 Upgrade. ????

There are no keyboard commands when you select "Axis Commands" from the Category dropdown list. You will see all the keyboard commands when you select ANY of the other options from that drop down...

The Axis Commands is a special section dedicated ONLY to analog controllers.

Not absolutely certain, but I believe most (if not all) of the functions listed in Axis Commands are repeated in the other drop down selections ("All", "Flight Controls", etc.), and the default keyboard commands are listed there.

If this is not the case, then of course you should reinstall...
