JOSETI Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Well done BST  Best Regards. A good plan violently executed today is better than a perfect plan executed tomorrow. General George S. Patton.
Suchacz Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Apparently, MiG-15 was made with love  Per aspera ad astra! Crucial reading about DCS: Black Shark - Black Shark and Coaxial Rotor Aerodynamics, Black Shark and the Trimmer, Black Shark – Autopilot: Part 1, Black Shark – Autopilot: Part 2
msalama Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Indeed. I'm head over heels in love with this plane. What a splendid aircraft! The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.
mjmorrow Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 (edited) Indeed. I'm head over heels in love with this plane. What a splendid aircraft! Yes! The Mig-15bis is my favorite flight sim ride of any flight sim, period. I already love her. She really is splendid. Too bad I am not so splendid in handling her, yet. :hehe:  MJ Edited March 10, 2015 by mjmorrow [sIGPIC]http://i688.photobucket.com/albums/vv250/mjmorrow76/SPAD%20of%20a%20new%20generation_zpshcbftpce.png[/sIGPIC]
Skulleader Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Hello Dear Joseti, Please can you explain step by step the method for obtain this result because I'm not sure to have well understood. Elefant1301 Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 +1 And why turning off/on the battery ? Thanks.
Suchacz Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 To stall the compressor move the throttle lever quickly from idle to max or make other quick change forward. Battery has nothing to do with it. Elefant1301 Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 I know but in the video you can clearly see the battery is turned off and on. I don't see why.
Esac_mirmidon Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 The generator starts to feed energy above 4000 RPM, so below that you run only on bateries and in a short time they are depleted. Elefant1301 Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Ah, this move was done to save the batteries, ok. Who talked about perfectionism, huh ! :-)
dahui Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Hi and sorry to grab this "old" Thread up When i applying full throttle from idle the engine spools up slow and normaly? Was something fixed in a patch`?
Kelevra9987 Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 If you try to slam the Throttle from Idle to Buster you'll enter a world effort aka. Compressor Stall. Thats a really old Engine and has a very slow response time. So it's not a bug, it's a feature. Handle her with care and you'll have a great time flying this little machine. dahui Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Das ist mir schon klar ;) Ich frage weil ich eben keinen compressorstall habe, wenn ich die Throttle nach vorne hämmere...
Art-J Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Note that the engine is equipped with hydraulic retarder in throttle unit, which reduces the risk of compressor stall (delaying response of the engine to fast throttle inputs). In the video on the previous page, this system is disabled though, as seen by "isolating valve" light being on (turning the isolating valve on switches both mixture regulator and throttle retarder off). That's why this guy could cause surge much more easily. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
