aap_flanker Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Prior to update Windows I was using the latest beta drivers... After update they stopped working, then I downloaded the "now released" drivers (no longer in beta stage). But still won't work. Yesterday I installed old drivers (6.6.6.9) and this works but I have lost the MFD function :/ Intel i5 11700F + H80 | 4x4GB 3200mhz RAM | AORUS ELITE B560M | Samsung 850 PRO SSD 256gb| KINGSTON SA400 480GB SSD | WD 500GB | Gigabyte GTX 1070 8GB | Antec 1200 PSU | Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS and homemade panels and rudder pedals | 24" Samsung T24C550 @60Hz 2ms | Opentrack 3 led clip

The new drivers/software was buggy for me until I did a complete wipe of everything Saitek, then reinstalled. sniperwolfpk5 Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Ok guys I have tested latest released drivers and SST software. The drivers have issues not working properly. The drivers are not stable. First I removed previous drivers from control panel then removed any related drivers from device manager then restarted my OS. Installed newer drivers and SST. Issues with the latest drivers. If you open control panel of joystick (calibration window) after calibration and closing the joystick will stop working. You need to un-plug your joystick and re-plug it to start working again You can't change your profile from using clutch button. If you try to use clutch button to change your profile chances are the mfd stop working and you may see BSOD  You need to un-plug your joystick and re-plug it to start working again. People those are saying they have no issues. I would suggest to check their drivers version in Device Manger. I am sure new drivers are not installed with them, that is the reason they have no issues Shame saitek can't provide stable drivers. Win10, Intel 3rd Gen. HiJack Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Oh, I'm glad I decided to stay with Windows 7 when I see all the problems Saitek have with Windows 10. I hope they solve their problems some day, good luck with the #install #uninstall #support #testing #saitek #countlesshours :pilotfly:

Foxtrue Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Hi, It looks like Saitek released the final drivers for the X52 and X52 Pro Windows 10. http://www.saitek.com/uk/down/drivers.php However it looks like there are some issues with the installation, it looks like Windows 10 updated to the latest version no longer recognises the X52/X52 Pro as a USB device. There is a workaround available: Run the driver installer - the driver from the Madcatz site, then do as instructed and plug your X52/X52 Pro in. Let the installer run. Once Windows has completed its process, you'll need to go to device manager. From there, right click on the X52/X52 Pro or on the unknow device if the X52 / X52 Pro are not visible (with the exclamation mark in a yellow triangle on it) and select 'Update Driver.' You'll need to choose 'Let me pick...' and then choose the first device - Generic USB Device or similar - NOT the X52/X52 Pro one. Your X52 / X52 Pro should then be recognised by Windows 10 and your installer should continue with its installation process. Hope this helps someone.

Ramstein Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 I think Saitek with Win10 is still a frakked up and the Beta doesn't work in my Win10 install properly.. I thought they actually made a final version of Saitek driver for Saitek X52 Pro and others, for Windows 10, but apparently it's still Beta, they are so deceptive , and it took them a year and they still screwed it up.. I know it woks in Win8.1 but when I went back to Win10 a 2nd time I was led to believe the latest release was a final, but apparently they mislead us, as it appears to still be a Beta version with bugs, the keys repeat the presses... Anyone else see the same issues? Foxtrue Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Guys, Let's not be too harsh, each time Microsoft releases an operating system, you can bet some things will go wrong. Let's face it, MS is not known for flawless updates and this issue came up after the 1511 update. From what I found on other forums, the above workaround works, you might just test it and see for yourself.

Well the above steps are only valid when the drivers are not installed properly. To confirm drivers are not installed properly. Check device manager with yellow exclamation mark. But if the drivers are properly installed then go to USB HID tree select one of the saitek drivers and go to the properties. Match the release data plus version in details tab. It should show the latest version. It means drivers are installed. I will give another try. Win10, Intel 3rd Gen. sniperwolfpk5 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 After latest windows update I tried latest x52 pro drivers and finally new drivers are working perfectly. I did the following steps. Unplug your joystick Uninstall all saitek related drivers using control panel uninstall programs Open device manger. In view menu there is show hidden menu click it. It will show drivers for disconnect devices Open Human Interface devices tree Delete all x52 flight controller drivers that you find there Now go to C:\windows\temp. Delete matcatz and any other x52 related folder Restart your window Now don't plug your joystick. Run the x52 latest drivers (Saitek_X52Pro_Flight_Controller_7_0_47_1_x64_Drivers) setup. When it ask for joystick to plugin then plugin your joystick and continue Install SST software (Saitek_X52Pro_Flight_Controller_7_0_47_1_x64_Software) I hope this will help you install latest joystick drivers. Call911 Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 (edited) So I was just playing DCS like 2 days ago. Decided to fly again today and noticed none of the light on my X52 pro were lit, even though it was plugged in. So investigating further i started the game an noticed that DCSW latest stable did'nt even recognise the X52 pro in the controls setup area. this is very wierd as i was just in there like a cpl days ago setting up controls for UH1 an KA etc. I've tried re-installing an now i get a driver issue that won't install the drivers for the X52 that i've done several times in the past. i've investigated online an tried diferrnt drivers an deleted all files (regedit etc) an have no idea what to do now. Any help an sry for poor spelling etc I need sleep. :D Edit At this point I'm not fond of Win 10 and I'm highly suspicious of the whole driver not being signed etc an possably causing issues an I'm contemplating re-installling win 7 is there any differnece in Win 7 an Win 10 performance wise an DCS World current stable version?
