Dahlbeck Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Do you mean if we keep the dual throttles locked together or not? For the A-10C I don't, for most others, I do. I reckon I want an equal wear and tear on both axes even when flying single engine.
Nevyn Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Dual engine plane unlocked, single engine plane locked. I take it thats what you mean.
IonicRipper Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Unlocked for warthog but locked for everything dual engine with AB (makes it easier to move past the detent IMO) i5 4590 @ 3.77GHz | GTX 1060 6GB | 16GB 1600MHz DDR3 | 1TB HDD+500GB HDD | Win10 Home X64 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
-Pv- Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 I have Warthog unlocked. FSX throttles locked together. -Pv-
98abaile Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 I find that if I keep them locked I get uneven responses from them (only a little difference though), so in a twin engine jet I keep them unlocked.
Backy 51 Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 (edited) If you have to shut an engine down in a multi-engine aircraft, locked doesn't really make any sense if realism is your goal. If you want to play arcade games, try World of Planes; I hear it's all thrust, no vector. :music_whistling: Then again, it's YOUR game! Do whatever makes you happy ... P.S. - Getting on the tanker is a bear with throttles locked ... you gotta crack those knuckles to get precise throttle control for AR. Edited June 6, 2015 by Backy 51 I don't need no stinkin' GPS! (except for PGMs :D) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
