SimShaker for DCS World Sound Mode Expansion - Discussion

Nescafé, do you have have both motorsport (3in1)and sim shaker for DCS World installed? I had this exact error message. Only way around this that I found was to exit the 3in1 in the task bar as they both run on boot up. Then it seems to work (for me at least). Hope that helps. Les

 

I think two SimShakers can conflict trying to access the same file simultaneously. So that can be the reason.

Guys,

SimShaker Sound Module now has the same set of effects as its base module for Gametrix JetSeat.

I'm going to finish beta stage of our project and to release this peace of software.

Further filling up of Sound Module with new effects is going to be done along with its base module.

If there are any Sound Module issues left that we need to fix, please let me know.

hey bud..im getting this error with dcs 1.5

MyVibroEffect.Load: Could not find file :ibaVibroEffects\p3_6_1_1.uwv

 

I have found and fixed this error in SimShaker "3 in 1".

With Nevada and DCS 2 being a totally separate install, Is there anything I need to change to keep the seat working with it, or is it just a case of waiting for an update?

In general, that's the case of waiting for SimShaker update with that separate install supported.

But there is a trick if you need an urgent help. Do you have Nevada and DCS 2 already installed?

I cant get the latest update to install unfortunately. Keep getting an "application cannot be started error. Error summary from log below:

 

ERROR SUMMARY

Below is a summary of the errors, details of these errors are listed later in the log.

* Activation of http://ibaserver.esy.es/dcsworld/ibaeffects/ibaEffectsForDcsWorld_WF.application resulted in exception. Following failure messages were detected:

+ Access to the path 'C:\Users\**********\AppData\Local\Temp\Deployment\NCJTW25A.P26\XTDN5V5G.MDB\DCS World\Sound Module\SoundModule.exe' is denied.

 

****** = Computer name block out

 

Any suggestions to fix? Worked find before this last update......

please uninstall SimShaker and install it again. That should help.

One can modify all necessary lua stuff in the script folder manually and then SimShaker should work.
