Sabre-TLA
When trying to access: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/products/world/ I'm getting a 502 Bad Gateway message - nginx/1.8.0 Other pages seem to be fine including User Downloads section. Just the product pages seem inaccessible. Anyone else getting this? MapleFlagMissions - Read Our Blog for Updates

Sabre-TLA
Did some more testing and found that I only get the bad gateway when I'm logged in. When not logged in the pages are ok. I'll check it again later on and see if it still happens. Some pages load but others won't. Downloads is ok, Modules section in Downloads fails, Campaigns is ok, Previous Versions is ok, Texture Templates fails, Documentation is ok, Screenshots is bad, Video Training is bad, user files is ok. Very strange. MapleFlagMissions - Read Our Blog for Updates

Sabre-TLA
Just sent you a PM. Let me know if you need more info. We had a similar problem at work and it turned out the web server was running out of memory. Once the server was restarted the pages would load ok again. sobek
But then we would have much more users complaining about this issue. I believe that one of the nodes along your route seems to have a problem. You both get routed via nwk-1-6k.nj.us, i believe the problem is somewhere between there and the server in France. I'm not sure this is inside our control. May i ask you guys to wait until tomorrow and try again? Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives! Yurgon
Did some more testing and found that I only get the bad gateway when I'm logged in. Same here. I did not run traceroute or anything, as I'm 99% certain it's something that happens on ED's side of things. I'm sure the webserver error log will show exactly what goes wrong or at least provide some good pointers for the web developers. I do get the error for these URLs (all under http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/): - /en/products/ - /en/products/* - /en/downloads/screenshots/ - /en/downloads/modules/ - /en/downloads/texture_templates/ - /en/downloads/video_training/ Note that some URLs like /en/downloads/campaigns/ work fine while neighboring URLs under /en/downloads/ don't. Edit: But just for the record: C:\Users\yurgon>tracert www.digitalcombatsimulator.com Routenverfolgung zu digitalcombatsimulator.com [87.98.182.202] über maximal 30 A bschnitte: 1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 0.0.0.0 (anonymized) 2 1 ms 1 ms 1 ms 217.0.116.240 3 2 ms 3 ms 3 ms 87.186.240.82 4 10 ms 7 ms 7 ms 217.239.40.182 5 6 ms 6 ms 6 ms 37.187.232.98 6 14 ms 15 ms 14 ms rbx-g2-a9.fr.eu [37.187.232.97] 7 16 ms 16 ms 16 ms gra-g2-a9.fr.eu [37.187.36.6] 8 16 ms * * gra-3a-6k.fr.eu [178.33.103.226] 9 15 ms 15 ms 15 ms digitalcombatsimulator.com [87.98.182.202] Ablaufverfolgung beendet. Try logging out of the website. I can get to the pages that previously failed if I'm logged out but not when logged in (and I've cleared all cookies and downloaded content so they are not cached). Yurgon
Try logging out of the website. Yeah, sorry, that's what I meant. When I'm logged in, I get the Bad Gateway error as written above. When I'm not logged in, all pages load fine. Basically, I was just trying to confirm your observation. ;) I don't think this has anything to do with Cookies; it's simply a programming error or server error, something that happens on the server side; maybe it happens to all users or maybe only to users who registered before a certain date or users whose User-Agent (aka browser) contains a specific string, but I very much doubt there's anything any of us could do to alleviate the issue. We'll just have to wait for the problem to get fixed.
