The repair works regardless to the restart of the mission.

Once a group of units are destroyed (can be noticed by objective percentage drop in PAKInfo or webpage), the group is inserted into a repair process which will repair each destroyed group in a queue, between 15 to 30 minutes per group.

 

It was not 4 am also before ?

 

Last time it was 3 hour mission cycle, now we are trying 4 hour mission cycles.

Having very little issue thus far, It did creak a little at prime time over the weekend, only issue i've noticed is that Ciribob has been put on the wrong side. By putting him opfor we have to let him kill us to keep him happy with the scripting. I hate letting him win just because I like him, so please make him Blue. thx.

Thanks for the 4hr cycles, it means a lot for the strategy.

Does units dropped with choppers (like anti aircrats or EWR) disapears after restart ?

 

It would be awesome if they could stay more than 3-4 hours and would avoid ruined work of choppers pilot when the server crashes

Nice to see the serv again but still disapointed with the refueling stuff.... is it supposed to stay like that?

 

For the guys who just want to join, fly a bit and leave you have to take consideration the 45min of refueling time...IMO is a pain in the $$$ when you are time limited by personal stuff...

This is done so the map is not flooded with units which would render the server unplayable.

Still need refueling, we understand the need for players who just want to go up and fly quickly, but in Blue Flag we try to encourage team play and ask players to take into consideration each flight they do. making refueling handicap is making sure people don't just get shot down and quickly takeoff, this way getting shot down is tougher.

It's totally legit, but is it possible to keep them longer for exemple 2 or 3 map time ?

What is the cap/pickup range from airbases & farps again? (Troops CTLD etc.) I remember something like 5 km...

 

btw Greg made it sound like slingloads weren't in because of stabillity issues. Could we maybe then tweak the script a bit? Hovering 10seconds above a crate I can't see - without cargo cam is streching my flying skills to the limits.^^

 

Also having issues refueling a heli (mi8) at some FARPs at mission start. (BE-TL for example)

Server was pretty pressed tonight - at prime time there was typical DCS type misbehaviour. Slightly worse in the 4th hour of play.

 

Talk about each side throwing everything. Love to have seen the stats for ordanance fired and deaths today.

 

First time I've done 4v5 and 2v4. Lots of fun, thanks.

Its good he's on redfor! I felt a little lonely in my chopper during BF4 :thumbup:

Morning!

 

So yes, some very intense flying yesterday which I thoroughly enjoyed, until the rubber banding started! I've never seen a Huey dodge a rear-aspect Aim-9 before, and then I saw one helicopter do it twice! He was dealt with by the power of cannons eventually - such fun.

 

I did spot a bug yesterday and took a picture, however now that I'm at work I can't get to the picture... Whilst taxying out at Beslan, I noticed one of the pillbox bunkers. It was on top of another pillbox bunker. It was quite comical, but I'm also quite sure that it would complicate destroying them to close the airfield. Whilst I'm not sure, it's possible that this same bug prevented us from closing Nalchik later that evening.
