Can the left and right throttles in the real world A-10 be linked together as they can be with the TM Warthog?

I find flying without linked throttles very difficult.. matter of preference, probably.

I used to fly with throttles linked until I read that there's no such link in the real aircraft.

I then forced myself to keep the throttles unlinked and realized it took maybe half an hour until I couldn't tell the difference any longer. :)

Besides, "walking the throttles" in aerial refueling is much simpler this way.

Walking the throttles? I know what you mean, but they have a use in AAR??? In real life?

The Hornet is best at killing things on the ground. Now, if we could just get a GAU-8 in the nose next to the AN/APG-65, a titanium tub around the pilot, and a couple of J-58 engines in the tail...

I read many times that pilots do it IRL during refueling, yup.

Yes. You can read in various sources that it is done in various airplanes, perhaps in all multi-engine fighters. I am 100% sure for the A-10 and F/A-18 and I think I read the same somewhere about the F-15E and the F-4.

And it works very well in the sim, too, as expected because the flight model is great. :)
