Well, I don't have source - you told that "we have" and i was thinking that you really have.

Why in my opinion more sophisticated ?. Look at the photos: control panel have additional functions, IPV screen have additional switches similar for those from Su-27 ( not existing on export machines ), all those "things" are not there without reason don't you think?. And at last, Soviet aircrafts always had better electronic equipment, even compare to Warsaw Pact variants.

This can be only wishful thinking from my side, but can be true as well. You don't have proof for "No", I don't have proof for "Yes", it means that discussion is open. We need only documentation. Maybe it's time, after so many years, for real development supported by real documents.

Hi all,

I'm having a little problem with the Mig-29, i've installed FC3 a day before 1.5 came out, it was all new to me, but i had an issue with the view, guess it has to do with 6DOF? There is no way i could see back of the bird inside the cockpit, the back seat was blocking my view, not able to zoom or move the eye sight up down, front back... i've seen in a video the guy didn't had my view he could see the vertical stab and the wings, and now with 1.5, when i load my missions done in 1.2.16 i still have this problem, but when creating a new mission, i do get the view the guy had ans the one seen in the video at the first post of this thread.. any way i can fix this? i wanna save up my mission and being able to fly the mig in it, but with that view, it's unflyable, i can'T see my 6 and get sot real quick.. here's a screen shot of my view. I can't even move right or left, all i can do is move forward or back.

Thanks

By default there is a track ir axis missing in FC3 planes, simply check how the axis are configured in the hardcore modules and add the missing axis for trackir..

The cockpit is still WIP so the right (?) engine needle isn't working yet. I checked it in the live chat with the testers on the night of the launch and was assured that it was an issue now, but will be fixed later.

The MiG-29 all the way through modification 9.13S does not have a data-link.

You can burn the web, find some people that can facilitate some original documents, but you´re not going to find anything.

It´s just the SEI as an ILS repeater. That´s all.(and I don´t mean the ILS you all know)

To clarify, the MiG 29 doesn't have an MFD just a HUD repeater? How does one navigate or do BVR with AWACs?

RSBN_ARK_LAZUR_Radio command... and that´s all. And a finely made autopilot.:D

Also, you can use the HUD directions to navigate just fine.

Don´t forget the Inertial Navigation System.

What bug's i saw in the cockpit of the MiG-29s.

1. Artificial horizon not working well.

2. Counter-measure's counter not working at all.

3. Berioza lights are to dimm when sun light is over them and/or when the cockpit lights are on.

4. GCI connection not existing.

5. Warning panel lights on right side not working.

.

I never have seen this before. What you mean is the ECM light sign?

GCI connection not existing

I think what you mean is the air-targets on the right MFD via Data-link AWACS/EWR. You can forget about this feature in the Mig-29S is not any more because the S version never had data-link. There you gone find a HUD repeater.

There is ECM light on the right panel and there is counter of how much Counter Measures left on front panel just behind a stick.

Until AFM I wont touch it. Glad to see effort made for this fantastic aircraft

Before 6dof cockpit I would barely touch it either. Now I think it's actually worth doing some occasional flight's in, but it certainly feels a bit incomplete without AFM. Same thing goes for Su-33. I hoped that AFM for Su-33 would follow after we got it for the Su-27, but we haven't heard anything from the devs about it yet that I know of.

Anyway, we who initially bought FC3 got great value for our money, since none of these things were initially listed as being included in FC3. A big thank you goes to ED for refining FC3 in this way. :)

The new features sure are cool, but in my case I probably won´t touch it until there´s a DCS level module of it.

They can take all the money they want from me.:D

No MFD on real Mig-29, no MFD on 1.5.

Only HUD repeater.

I know this has probably been gone over before.

Will the MFD HUD Repeater option be added back or are we stuck with a HUD only on the MFD from now on?

I read that this is the way it is in the real world and that it was going to stay this way, but without a waypoint indicator of some kind it will remain difficult to navigate between WP.

is there an english cockpit mod for the 6dof cockpit already? I tried googling around but I only found very old mods.

I have been looking as well, but no joy! I will post back if I find something.
