Flappie Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 All my HUD-equiped modules seem bugged : when I lean my head to the left/right, I can see the HUD info printed out of the HUD glass. It happens as soon as I jump into a HUD-equiped plane, in both solo and multiplayer modes. When my head is right in front of the screen, however, the HUD displays normally. (Click to enlarge) Modules tested so far : Su-27, Su-25T, Su-25, A-10A. All those are bugged. Here's my PC .NFO. I don't use any mod, nor graphic tweaks. My GC is a Radeon 7850. On holiday
Wizard_03 Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 I'm having the same issue with every model, however it is most apparent in the F-15C as both the HUD and Radar scope's display are visible in angles that they shouldn't be, I.E. I can see the Radar scope's lines through the UFC. DCS F/A-18C :sorcerer:
Sryan Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 This also happens on the Ka-50. Only in the top left and top right of the hud. Check my F-15C guide
Flappie Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 IMPORTANT NOTICE: I've replaced my old Radeon 7850 with a brand new GTX980, and the graphic problem has gone. Wizard_03, Sryan: do both of you happen to own an AMD graphic card? On holiday
Wizard_03 Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 (edited) IMPORTANT NOTICE: I've replaced my old Radeon 7850 with a brand new GTX980, and the graphic problem has gone. Wizard_03, Sryan: do both of you happen to own an AMD graphic card? Yes mine is a Radeon R9 270X somewhat new too, got a little over a year on it. Could it be a driver problem or somehthing like that? I tried changing the setting in options to Vsync and still got the same issue. ***edit looks like there are some updated drivers for my card, I will try updating the VGA drivers for it asap and let you guys know*** Edited October 9, 2015 by Wizard_03 DCS F/A-18C :sorcerer:
Flappie Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 It happens to me too even with a GTX 970 I'm using the latest NVIDIA driver : 358.50. Can you try this one? On holiday
Wizard_03 Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 My Drivers are up to date, still no joy I think ED is going to have to fix this one. DCS F/A-18C :sorcerer:
Warthog_Farmer Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 No issues for me - Intel + 980Ti latest drivers
Wizard_03 Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 It must some bigger issue with some AMD cards. DCS F/A-18C :sorcerer:
Flappie Posted October 12, 2015 Author Posted October 12, 2015 It must some bigger issue with some AMD cards. No, it may also affect nVidia GFX cards : It happens to me too even with a GTX 970 On holiday
razo+r Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 I'm using the latest NVIDIA driver : 358.50. Can you try this one? I am using this one
Nealius Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 HD7850, same issue here in both Su-25T and A-10C. Most apparent in the Frogfoot, though.
Wizard_03 Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 It happens to me with all forms of projected displays and HUDs including the gun sites sights in the F-86 and Mig-15 and the Radar scope in the F-15 (probably cause it uses similar coding) DCS F/A-18C :sorcerer:
Wizard_03 Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 Been a while anyone get anywhere with this? I'm trying a fresh DL DCS F/A-18C :sorcerer:
Flappie Posted November 13, 2015 Author Posted November 13, 2015 From the moment I've changed my old R7850 for a new GTX980, I haven't encountered this issue anymore. On holiday
domini99 Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 I have it on the KA-50 only, but only in the top corners when I push the camera in impossible angles (and break the pilots neck)
Wizard_03 Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 So I upgraded to a GTX970 and the issue is gone for me now too. I think my drivers were bad or something. DCS F/A-18C :sorcerer:
Flappie Posted November 18, 2015 Author Posted November 18, 2015 That's what I was thinking. Since the issue doesn't appear in DCS 1.2, the problem is probably tied to an old driver that doesn't use DX11 properly. On holiday
Oldcooltronix Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 I have a problem when I'm in the "HUD init.lua" when KA50 the value of "indicator_type = indicator_types.COLLIMATOR" on "indicator_type = indicator_types.COMMON" change, which is then added to the HUD upwards.
