Then its shows you a link to install 1.5.0.45208.37..Which to me is not 1.5.1 .

 

 

I have not been able to crank up DCS since you brought this patch out.

 

And thats after Two uninstall and reinstall.

Very curious to know what is going on as well. Still no joy on running this thing, and now it is saying it is failing download due to antivirus or firewall issues. My AV is OFF!

Add me to this list. Sometimes it works and then hangs before finishing, but others it won't even start.

It may be helpful to post your autoupdate logs, they can be found in the main folder of your DCS Open Beta install.

Honestly, i just kept trying and eventually it worked but it gave me various errors along the way...the firewall error several times.

My logs look exactly the same Beeroshima...as in we're having an identical issue. I just got a new hard drive and am doing a clean install, so I don't think it's mod-related at all.

The problem is one of the remote servers that is having problems with HTTPS.

 

ED are aware of this issue some users are having, hopefully a new updater will be available soon.

 

Some users have solved the issue by using a vpn, which seems to be the only work around at the moment, alternatively wait for the new updater.

Maybe it randomly attaches you to different servers with each attempt then because after repeatedly running the updater, probably 8 or 10 times, it finally updated and works for me.

Got mine fixed!!!!

 

I uninstall from Control panel.

 

Then I deleted DCS Open beta folder in saved games.

 

Then I reinstalled in a new folder . And now I have 1.5.1
