I 'm a big fan of the Fullback. Really wish it gets developed as a DCS addon someday.

By the way: surfing the web I found the attached image.

It shows a military simulator of the SU-34. The tanker being depicted there kinda remembers me the IL-78 Midas we have in DCSW. Could this simulator be made by ED (or some affiliate group) for the Russian Air Force or other militaries? I really wouldn't mind if something like DCS A-10C happened for the -34 as well.. but maybe it's just wishful thinking. Even if the simulator in the pic is a DCS product, could well be that they never release it to the public.

As a sidenote, the last DCS newsletter linked to a page in the website with some new 3d models being developed. Featuring among them, several new russian guided bombs that incidentially are employed by the SU-34 (also by the Fencer and other aircraft).

What can you say. A simmer can dream sometimes ..

In The RL The Su-34 as a DCS full module simulated... I don't expect a full modeled Su-34. This bird is a modern and very complex machine.

BUT... As FC3 level is quite possible. The time will say

Military do not care about fancy 3D models, this is why most (all I've seen) military sims are much uglier than commercial products, thus I see no implication between Su-34 and new bomb models.

Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D

Veao is doing the Eurofighter and i think the Eurofighter is even more classified.

I would not say more classified, maybe equal (remember that the su-34 has only entered service last year). But russia is not as cooperative when it comes to simulators I have heard. Furthermore, VEAO is making the typhoon for the military first and as a dcs module second with stuf redacted. If it wasnt for the military we would probably not have seen this module.

The su34 is a unique aircraft and im sure very capable. I wouldnt call it beautiful though. Its more tyrion then it is jaime :)

I find it a really good looking aircraft actually.

from the little "hard data" coming from the air ops in Syria, seems that it's also very good at delivering pinpoint strikes on fixed targets, using the KAB-500-SE glonass gb.

I watched several vids about the strikes, I can understand that this weapon makes for the largest percentage of guided ordnance employed by the Russians. Although I've also seen ASMs mounted on SU-24s (KH-25ML), I don't believe that their usage has been recorded on videos.

Also, it kinda surprises me that the Russians are not employing the laser guided bombs they have at their disposal - could be an indication that most targets they are after are fixed ones.

Another thing that seems clear enough, is that no bombs heavier than 500kgs are being used.

I'm not much of a flyer of the Russian stuff but I would absolutely give this a go if it came in high fidelity.

Sweet looking bird.

Isn't that a SAR pod though?

seems an emitter locator pod, like the Phantazmagoria we have in DCS. Pods on wings are ECM almost surely
