Sorry to necro an older thread, but has anyone heard an update on this? Ive been trying to learn the KA-50 using the 476th vfg training range, but still have not been able to enter coords in the PVI.

Well, maybe if we keep this alive long enough, it will eventually be addressed.

Thanks for the update! It's things like this that Betas are for.

Like I said, the fix will eventually show up in a public version of the game, I just don't have any way of knowing when that will happen. If I was a betting man, I'd say when or before 2.0.0 is released.

Can we also have a Ka50 JTAC facility please.

The Hog and this sim are superb, for their navigational and battlefield situational awareness.

With the NTTR map and later, (hopefully not much later) the Europe map, the navigation/targeting input modes are important. At least to some?;)

Europe fall in North-East quadrant and Ka-50 is ready from the very beginning to deal with this combination of LatLon.

Even the incoming SoH is in the same quadrant as Georgia and Europe.

Having got TurboHogs superb JTAC and AWACS Mod working in 1.5.3 and 2.1, I tried compiling a mission in DCS 2.1. I could not enter the west coordinates. As previously stated in this thread, pressing "1" to get the "-" or west coordinate, then when trying to enter a coordinate west 117.522.98 resulted in a 175.229.8. This was about 500 miles away.

However, the inputs in the Caucuses map are fine. Those all being +, or east.

I hope ED gives this some attention for the NTTR Map. The JTAC Mod, for the Black Shark, can not be used in Nevada, at the moment.

Perhaps it will be done before we see the amalgamation of 1.5 and 2.0?:music_whistling:

Regards,

David.

Solved in the last Official and Openbeta.

Huh? Not for me ...

In the latest Open Beta (1.5.3.52018) I still can only enter coordinates between +075'00'0 / +160'00'0 and -75'00'0 / -090'00'0

Perhaps the range +75 ... -75 (instead of -90 ... +90) for latitude is correct - the manual is not really clear about that. Could be some INS limitation when getting closer to the poles?

But the range for longtitude is way off as it should be possible to enter -180 ... +180

I checked again the problem is no E/W (+/-) but no longitude over 90° allowed
