minimi66 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Hi guys, Want to copy my existing TM Warthog config from the Beta to 2.0 Alpha? Can someone tell me which file from where and where it needs to go? Tried what i thought would work but i'm only getting the Default set up in 2.0? I assumed the one i wanted was in Users\Saved Games etc and goes to Mods\aircraft\A-10-C etc? Any help appreciated? Thanks.:megalol: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit - Intel Core i9-13900K - 64GB Corsair Vengeance RAM @ 3200 MHz - ASUS TUF GAMING B660-PLUS WIFI D4 - Zotac NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 - 2TB INTEL NVMe SSD (Windows 10) - Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 1TB (DCS) - Crucial CT1000 1TB NVMe SSD - WinWing F-16EX Stick - WinWing Orion Throttle Base with both F-18 & F-16C TQS Throttle Grips - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech G-910 Keyboard - Logitech G-502 Lightspeed Mouse - Logitech G-533 Headset - Occulus Quest Pro VR - TrackIR 5 with Track Clip Pro
Gladman Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 You'll need to go into config (in game) and save each profile from 1.5. Then go into 2.0 and load each for keyboard, throttle, stick, and I did rudder pedals as well. I just saved them to a temp folder on my c: drive. Worked for me, hopefully you see the same results. i9 9900K @ 5.1Ghz - ASUS Maximus Hero XI - 32GB 4266 DDR4 RAM - ASUS RTX 2080Ti - 1 TB NVME - NZXT Kraken 62 Watercooling System - Thrustmaster Warthog Hotas (Virpil Base) - MFG Crosswind Pedals - Pimax 5K+ VFA-25 Fist Of The Fleet [sigpic]http://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic99190_2.gif[/sigpic] Virtual Carrier Strike Group 1 | Discord

some1 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 You can copy the diff files from Users\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta folder to the corresponding folder of \Saved Games\DCS.openalpha. The structure is the same. As others have said, this is not advised by ED because as usual there may be bugs and changes they forgot to tell us about. But it worked for me so far. dburne Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 I just took the time to build mine up from scratch as they suggested. I did not want to have any question if something should happen , was it because I copied my files over. Once I got into there and doing it, did not really take me that long. I just exported my assignments to HTML, and used them to reference as I put the assignments back in. ( first wiped all the default buton assignments out). But I am currently only actively flying the Ka-50, so not like I had a lot of modules to go in and build up at one time. The_Pharoah Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 One thing I wish was available (esp now that we have just the one instance of DCSW instead of two) is to be able to remap your controls whilst on a MP server. I always find mapping the A10C the hardest because of the number of functions that need to be mapped, however there's nothing worse than jumping on a MP server, starting up (4 mins) then figuring out you've missed something! NOOOOO. Is it just me or can you not create quick missions in 2.0? AMD AM4 Ryzen7 3700X 3.6ghz/MSI AM4 ATX MAG X570 Tomahawk DDR4/32GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600mhz/1TB 970 Evo SSD/ASUS RTX2070 8gb Super
