Use Mk-82 slicks for HADB if that was what you were doing. Not sure - but.... Mk-82 can only be released in CCRP with the M2000C, which means HADB cannot be conducted. ...But I might be wrong. Sarge55 Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Hmmm... you could quite possibly be right about the Mk-82's and CCRP only. Bit of an issue not being able to do HADB, can be quite accurate. Mind you it is suppose to be an A/A fighter not multirole. @RAZBAM - Bring on the M2000D please. (Once A/G radar is done) You can still do CCRP and dive bombing. CCRP doesn't mean "level", it only means that you need to designate your target before release. What you can do is dive, designate your target during the dive.
westr Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 (edited) No this is definitely mk82 snakeyes in CCIP mode. Only mode possible. As I say in 1.5 I can fly low and fast and drop them in a laydown delivery virtually flying level but in 2.01 I can't see the bomb cue if nobody else is finding the same then I'm baffled? :( Ref radar altimeter is there the ability to switch it on/off I didnt realise. Can you point out where that is? I shall try it :) Edited February 15, 2016 by westr RYZEN 7 3700X Running at 4.35 GHz NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080Ti 32gb DDR4 RAM @3200 MHz Oculus CV1 NvME 970 EVO TM Warthog Stick & Throttle plus 11" extension. Doum76 Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 so the question now, is GBU guided is working with a JTAC lasing? if so, how to, because my GBU doesn't get guide at all, i do not even see in the HUD a target designated from the JTAC, it's pointing nothing and if i drop bomb it goes for that point, not even guiding to a target supposed to near that point i made in the ME. I'm flying 2.0, in 1.5 DCS crashes when i select EF1.

Dingo_Bob Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 (edited) thought I'd add this here too just to highlight it :D no need to use the target cross with laser using CTLD script, GBU's follow laser once they can see it, more testing needed to see if normal AI JTAC / Human laser behaves the same I'll post a track / tacview later when back at the PC, but have been dropping from 25000'+ at 7Km+ out from targets and getting laser pick up and target hits every time http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2680512&postcount=63 Edited February 18, 2016 by Dingo_Bob [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Modules are like Pokemon you gotta catch 'em all :joystick::lol::pilotfly: AMD Ryzen7 3700x, G-Skills 32Gb RAM @ 3200Mhz, MSI GTX1080Ti, TM Warthog (20cm extension by Sahaj), MFG Crosswind Pedals, Oculus Rift, Track Ir5

mattebubben Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 Guys is the GBU only compatible with western lasers? Or can aircraft like the Su-25T and KA-50 laze aswell? Both of those would be amazing. The Su-25T because everyone has it. And the Ka-50 because its a Heli and it is able to find targets easier (since its closer) and also it can keep a more stable laze then airplanes since it can stay stationary while lazing.
Doum76 Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 Tacview of above, GBU's released no target spot applied with piper/cross, AFAC Apache is Lazing, GBU released @ ~20000' & 8Km off target, GBU acquires laser and glided to target Tacview of below video https://www.dropbox.com/s/49oo4nwojq4f72w/Tacview-20160217-213849-DCS.txt.acmi?dl=0 Nice, but it's kinda cheating since you need to know where you input the target and fly around, and taked out all the fun of comunication with the JTAC as for simulating purpuse... is there anyways to get the script working as to lock onto the jtac laser but while using the standard Communication (menu) with the JTAC?
Dingo_Bob Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 (edited) the script tells you all the same info as regular JTAC so not really cheating, you just loose the need to call laser on, ip inbound etc, The normal JTAC is just a bit more fussy to get him into a position to lase he has to be super close, but the GBU will travel to the laser from any height once you aproach from the right direction and it's visible to GBU's receiver, so no need to use the piper/cross hair, so same would apply for human JTAC, you could be talked onto target by buddy and drop from Height in a similar way, not sure for Humans in the Russian aircraft as I think the laser codes would be different, the script should work for the AI though as you set the laser code in the script. gospadin Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 there's no point in "not-cheating" at this time, since you can't input coordinates into the M-2000C's computer yet My liveries, mods, and missions for DCS:World M-2000C English Cockpit | Extra Beacons Mod | Nav Kneeboard | Community A-4E
ckelly14 Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Having problems with the latest update. Cannot get the JTAC to lase for the life of me. I have the JTAC very close (100 meters or so). Used to work before the update...
Maulkin Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Ok maybe it is not just me then. I have been trying to do this for some time now and I cant seem to ever get it to work (see attached DCSalpha track file). If anyone who has ever been successful has time, could they please review the track and let me know if I did anything wrong? ruddy122 Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Hi Everyone, I finally got the Mirage to finally drop LGB's using tflash's technique to set up the Mission Editor. The thread is found below: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=159392 The good news is that dropping an LGB from a Mirage 2000 while being buddy lased is really cool. The bad news is that my invisible and immortal JTAC asset has to be less than 100m from the target and is well within the "Death Dome" (Fragmentation area of Mk 82 around 2500 ft radius about 3000 ft high) The next step is to figure how to use the A-10C or Predator/Reaper to lase a target for the Mirage. Thanks for the great advice in the forum. Maulkin Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Could you take a quick look at my track and see what I am doing wrong? I just cannot figure it out. :( I am really trying to get this figured out with a JTAC since I dont have someone available for buddy lasing. --Maulkin Windows 10 64-bit - AMD Ryzen 9 5900X @ 3.7 GHz - 32 GB DDR4 3600MHz RAM - EVGA FTW3 RTX 3080 - Asus Crosshair VIII Hero motherboard - Samsung EVO Pro 1 TB SSD - TrackIR 4 Pro - Thrustmaster Warthog - Saitek rudder pedals - Lilliput UM-80/C with TM Cougars
