Why are there no Su-27UB, MiG-29UB and F-15D models in the DCS FC3?

There should be trainer jets in a fighter wing or fighter group.

Very hope that ED team adds trainer models to DCS by updates, even it is not flyable temporarily.

If so, that would be more realistic.

Nah, those (except MiG-29UB...looks cool, but no radar :( ) deserve their own module(s), IMO.

I'd love to have an F-15D, imagine what you could do in the back seat...sit and watch, take control when needed, yell at people that can't fly, etc...it'd be so much fun.

I know a lot of people that'd rather have an F-15E over any other 2 seat F-15, though...

Well, I'm fine with that too :P

I'd rather have DCS F-15C over them all. The second seat just eats away at my DPS with that added weight.

On the topic though, two seat capability is brand new to DCS and the FC planes are legacy assets. Not to mention ED is already focused on updating them to PFM standard, and possibly ASM down the line. Adding two seaters isn't really in the cards. Best hope might be third party modules.

Awaiting: DCS F-15C

Agreed, an ASM -15C would be awesome.

^^Correction: We have enough lead-in jet trainers (or whatever the term is.).

I'll fly any modern fast jet available. :D

+1

We have currently 3 Trainers at all with maybe more to come. I would be more happy with full dual seat combat aircraft, you can also train a pilot when he acts as RIO in the Tomcat or Strike Eagle. No need for a second seat in FC3-AC with simplified avionics.

Or the Super 530s LOL

They have guidance and succeptibility to ecm/chaff/flare problems too? O.o

So, basically a game that is a lot about BVR is bugged for most of the player base, except those flying F15s. Lol, nice.

I think people are arguing about guidance or CM effectiveness (yet :D), but the problem is with their drag numbers. Very drag versus the Aim-7 which it is supposed to be comparable.
