Most of it at Newegg.ca with some at Amazon.ca, pretty standard for a Canadian geek...

I used to shop at NCIX, Tiger Direct.ca and Performance Pc, but almost everything is available at a bunch of places now. A few years back you had to go to specialists to find certain things. Not anymore.

What did you jam it all into? Case?

Antec 1200 (few years old, but a keeper), changed all the fans for s-flex fans. 8 fans + 2 cpu fans.

Skylake has a bug that was just announced by Intel. Not sure what the fix will be.

Apparently it can be fixed by a mobo Bios update ! (Phew)

MSI already issued a fix (beta) for its Titanium mobo (among others). I guess the next Bios update will have it.

Wouldn't it be better to wait for new nVidia cards in this year?

980 will be "meh" after Pascal comes out :P

Nice setup though, DCS should play @30 FPS with no problem I think :D

Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D

IMHO that rig is good for 100+fps mostly, only NTTR will have it in it`s 50's but never down to 30fps unless you force 4k and NTTR on it.

I'll see what the rig says with the rift on DCS full on, big mission and all.

If need be, Pascal it will be then. But I think it will be just fine.:)

Great setup, that will run DCS, smooth as silk. I assume you are going to get one of the VR headsets? If not that's a pretty small monitor for such a powerful rig. Maybe my eyes are getting too old, but it would be too small for me.

Edit - I just reread the pages and yes you are planning VR so disregard. My eyes are definitely in need of some help....
