Hi,

Trying to get the Ground Crew radio menu option working in the black shark, when based on a FARP, but the menu option is always black. What am i doing wrong?

I have the right vehicles around the FARP setup.

In the old days, I mean, to version 1.2, I believe the text of the radio was white... Also, when the door o of the ka-50 is open, you can talk without radio to the ground crew...

Farp belongs to the fraction.

Utility vehicles are present within range.

Even more funny, when I select options from the black tinted menu, they work... Rearming works, goggles work, turbo works etc. On repair I get a copy, but not sure if it really repairs...

Note, I thought the maximum range would be 90 meters?

I do wish they would change the text coloring for the ground options, it is kind of hard to see for me.

you need to spool down (and lock the rotors?) for repair to start the count down. then top left of screen you see the repair count down.

HP G2 Reverb (Needs upgrading), Windows 10 VR settings: IPD is 64.5mm, High image quality, G2 reset to 60Hz refresh rate. set to OpenXR, but Open XR tool kit disabled.

DCS: Pixel Density 1.0, Forced IPD at 55 (perceived world size), DLSS setting is quality at 1.0. VR Driver system: I9-9900KS 5Ghz CPU. XI Hero motherboard and RTX 3090 graphics card, 64 gigs Ram, No OC... Everything needs upgrading in this system!.

Vaicom user and what a superb freebie it is! Virpil Mongoose T50M3 base & Mongoose CM2 Grip (not set for dead stick), Virpil TCS collective with counterbalance kit (woof woof). Virpil Apache Grip (OMG). MFG pedals with damper upgrade. Total controls Apache MPDs set to virtual Reality height. Simshaker Jet Pro vibration seat.. Uses data from DCS not sound... goodbye VRS.

Had this happen tonight. I was spooled down and all was set. Crew said "copy", but no countdown. I was just repairing to refresh my laser. Perhaps nothing happens if there's no real damage.

It's a good thing that this is Early Access and we've all volunteered to help test and enhance this work in progress... despite the frustrations inherent in the task with even the simplest of software... otherwise people might not understand that this incredibly complex unfinished module is unfinished. /light-hearted sarcasm

If I understand what your saying, it happens a lot in multiplayer. I always assume it was related to how the missions/server was set up. Easy communications or not, etc. I don;t know what causes it. You should still be able to talk to ground crew. They may not respond but will still rearm you or put power on.

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.

If a burnt out laser is all the damage to the Ka-50, the ground crew will refuse a repair. In that case just press the aft fire extinguisher button and request repairs again.

No mvsgas; it's not about an audible response. It was that they said 'copy', but the countdown and repair never occurred. I'm the one who created the mission, so it's not a matter of bad code/practices. My answer was not a question, but rather an assist for FlightControl.

St3vv3f, that's a superb idea.

ok, I was responding to OP, never said anything about yours. I don't understand what are we talking about.

Well mvsgas, I was reviving a 5 month old thread to say that I'd experienced the same thing, and had a valid theory as to the cause. Your comment followed mine and contradicted it. Are you following me around with a contradictory stick? Keep that thing to yourself.

I did not even realize the thread was that old, sorry. I did not read your post, I was strictly talking to OP. If you read my post you can see I don't mention nothing about repair and I did quoted the OP, not yours nor the post you quoted.
