Windows 10 performance comparison?

I prefer the group policy method.......

Can you please explain that? thankyou, I have Pro and don't know how to stop updates.

open gpedit.msc in a shell, i.e. type cmd and hit enter, type gpedit.msc and hit enter again.

 

Computer-->Admin.Templ.-->Wind.Components-->WindowsUpdate

 

Among those options, read them, understand them, make your changes, save & exit

 

type gpupdate /force and hit return, type shutdown -r -t 0 and HIT RETURN

How windows 10 Nowadays? i had it last year but to the many bugs and the desktop not responding i moved back to 7. And stil im a Dutchy and i like the free stuff lol is it worth to downloading it again?

How windows 10 Nowadays? i had it last year but to the many bugs and the desktop not responding i moved back to 7. And stil im a Dutchy and i like the free stuff lol is it worth to downloading it again?

 

No issues here, running great for me.

Also I believe the free upgrade offer may be expiring soon so you may want to check into that to be sure you get in the offer.

Yeah i just got the message from windows 8 days remaining now just looking what you all got to say about windows 10 but looks good for now :smilewink:

I've been using it on all my computers (except for my shop computer) since last year, and I haven't had any problems. I turned off all the crap I didn't like, as far as privacy or bloat services.

i5-4670K@4.5GHz / 16 GB RAM / SSD / GTX1080

Rift CV1 / G-seat / modded FFB HOTAS

No issues here with Win10.

 

But after install be sure to go out and get your own drivers for your card.

 

During install Win10 loaded an older version.
