Don't know if anyone else is having issues with the Mirage , but I just purchased it and downloaded it thru the module manager . Upon clicking on fly on a mission , everything goes into slow motion or freezes . If I pause the mission , I can look freely around fine with my TRACKIR , unpause it then it goes back to freezing and stuttering . All my other Modules are fine , I have no issues at all , so this leads me to suspect there is a corrupt file with this particular aircraft .

Well mine is definitely bugged ..unplayable . all other modules are fine..I have repaired / reinstalled DCS Open Beta , reinstalled all my modules and the only one that is unplayable is the Mirage . Is there something that I can additionally download to fix ? or maybes send a copy of my Mirage file to for someone to have a look ?

in what way is it unplayable?

is it just that you cant select it or that it crashes when you select it or how is it broken?

there is currently a bug which causes crashing when turning on radar and somebody is jamming.

Ok im aware of the bug as i have the mirage.

But that is not the same as saying the Mirage is completely unplayable.

Its Just pretty unusable in multiplayer.

But you can still fly in especially in Singleplayer etc.

He explaines his problem in the OP. Seems unplayable is fitting in his case.

Matte , as soon I click "fly" on the Mirage whether offline or online ..the graphics goes crazy. everything starts moving in slow motion ..it takes seconds to go from F1 , F2, F3 etc . I tried to set up controls and nothing works ..outside AI moves in a jerk ..I know I've beat a dead horse . but its only doing this with the Mirage ..when you pause the mission ..everything moves fine ..I thought it was TRACKIR related , but it isn't . I'm almost certain its something in the plane file .

1/ remove any mod if you have them + make a DCS "repair" (shortcut in windows start menu)

2/ remove all files from you Saved Games\DCS to "reset" each and every option/setting of the game to a default value

Both measures should be made temporarily (for example, moving files elsewhere so they are not used by the simulator, but not deleting them straight so you can reverse the maneuver later).

3/ try again.

i suggest going in to you MODS/M2000 and DELTE THE MOD FOLDER then run DCS REPAIR and should fix problem, if there are not more people having this issue it's YOUR issue. but if there is a JAMMER it CTD's so i have not played as it's "broken" in this state. i have had other issues like this with different modules and always fixed by just deleting the aircraft mod folder and repair to redownload,

My mirage will not start up anymore. I'm following the normal startup procedure but when I press the engine start button it's doesn't move, no indication on the RPM gauge. I have no mods installed, I ran the repair, and removed and reinstalled the module.

Try turning on the Battery switch first.

Check your throttle it might not be completely all the way back to idle. If it is not hit the red engine cutoff button. The button will put it all the way back and then u can spool up.

Ok , I tried all the suggested fixes ..nothing helped . I am getting an average of 60+ FPS with all my other DCS modules and no kidding ..I'm getting 2 FPS with the Mirage . I have set all my settings to low , I have removed mods , repaired DCS numerous times , removed / reinstalled the Mirage ..I even went in to MSCONFIG and suspended most applications to where only 810mb of 8 GB was being used ..that changed nothing .still only 2 FPS . I am dumbfounded as to why the plane is sucking so much memory just sitting on a tarmac . What else can I do ? $ 40 of my beer fund was diverted for this plane and I can't enjoy it .

You could try hitting Ctrl+ScrollLock twice to get some extra information about where the system is spending its time each frame, and take a screenshot (PrintScreen - saved in Saved Games/DCS.../Screenshots) to share that info. Something in there might provide a clue.

What resolution do you play at?

Also, you said "sucking so much memory" - what was this based on? How much memory does Task Manager say DCS is using when you're in the M2000C cockpit? What about other aircraft?

Probably best to restart the game between tests, I've noticed the memory usage tends to creep up when I'm repeated restarting a mission I'm building and it regularly goes over 8 GB on the Black Sea map.
