sideshow Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 It would be nice to see someone come out with a decent set of pedals. Unfortunately I don't think those are it.
OldE24 Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 It would be nice to see someone come out with a decent set of pedals. Unfortunately I don't think those are it. ??? there are lots of "good" pedals but i read somewhere these were to be priced at 89$ you have to read all of it these are to also work with PS4 i believe so they are not marketed at the high end market, if you want high end check out MFG crosswinds or such. 8700k@4.7 32GB ram, 1080TI hybrid SC2
sideshow Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Those crosswinds look awesome, have you tried them? I've been using Saitek's for the past couple years. They fell apart because the spacer and pin were never installed at the bottom of the tension wheel. They were out of warranty when this happened, so I had to rig something up with a cotter pin. I'd shell out the cash for the right pedals.

Yup, I agree, these are targeted for the lower budget flyer. Be interesting to see some reviews when that happens. Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
JCK Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 I suspect that we all know...... Do we compromise spacing between the pedals...for a stick between our legs, as per 'real life', ..or do we compromise...as per 'side stick' (ie A320) - which is entirely acceptable? My RL flying hasn't been influenced by either. Physically, you have to do the 'necessary' to create the correct 'picture', whether by yoke, right, left or central stick. I know a couple of A320 pilots who admit the changeover from right hand (first officer) to Captain (left hand) has never been an issue. Fundamentals - hand/eye coordination. End of. My two pence worth.... i7-4790, 16GB DDR3, 6GB EVGA GTX1060 SC, Oculus CV1, Track IR 5, BenQ XL2720X, TM Warthog HOTAS, MFG Crosswind, Microsoft Windows® 8.1 -
JCK Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 BTW - Just forked out for MFG Crosswind rudder pedals. I'm a gliding instructor and there's no better discipline in aviation that requires accurate use of rudder.
