All skins go into this folder: X:\DCS World\CoreMods\aircraft\SA342\Liveries With "X" being the drive you have your game installed on. If there are new textures being included with the skin, they would go here: X:\DCS World\CoreMods\aircraft\SA342\Textures If you want them in your Open Beta install or the Alpha install just substitute the main folder with the appropriate one. Home Fries Posted November 8, 2016 Share Posted November 8, 2016 (edited) BaD CrC, Right now, you can install to a dummy folder, then open each description.lua in a unicode editor like Notepad++. Go line by line, and for any textures you see in the textures\<aircraft> folder, copy it to the liveries folder holding the description.lua. Then set the last argument to "false" instead of "true" so DCS looks for the texture in the liveries folder and not the texture path. Just to make it consistent, any of the weathered (i.e. desert) textures have _wx at the end of the filename, so these are easy to figure out. I do the installer for ease of version control as well as reducing the footprint size, but I may put a routine in the installer to provide the option for either installation type. If this happens it will likely be in January when I have some free time. Which were deployed to Bosnia in 1995 as part of the Rapid Reaction Force. I remember them when as I was posted out there as well as the lynx helicopters. I would love to see the Lynx inside DCS. I know its a pretty simple skin to make but think it works well inside DCS. Would be good if we had UN skins for vehicles even more scenarios for mission building.
